Good product overall. Stops you getting your hands covered in muck should it come off in use.

I had the misfortune of having to use this twice today, and once you've mastered the knack it takes 5 seconds to get the chain back on. Hands weren't dirty or cut on the chainrings, took longer to get it out of my saddle bag, than it did to get the chain back on. Utterly brilliant tool

Love the product but the strap to fix it to your bike is on for a short while. After several rides came back and mine had fallen off and lost. It just needs a better securing system so my advice is elastic band it to your bike as well.

I hope this will be useful. My first longish ride on my new bike and the chain fell off five miles from home. I ended up filthy, cycling home in the pouring rain, pitch dark, at rush hour - terrified that the same thing might happen again (luckily, it didn't)!!! I stumbled across this on Amazon (I had no idea such a thing existed), and immediately bought it. I haven't needed to use it yet - but it gives me more confidence when I'm out. It's expensive for what it is, and I have no confidence in the rather flimsy looking strap; I don't want to risk losing it, so I keep it in my little emergency pack. I chose blue to go withy bike, so I'm disappointed to find that it's much greener than the illustrations - sea green rather than blue (now wish I'd got the black one, but thought the blue would be easier to spot). My photos shows a green face towel (the exact same colour as the Rehook) and "blue" Rehook on a blue camp stool.

This little tool was a big help in getting my chain back on. If you don’t have someone to lift the back of the bike to rotate the pedals to get the chain on, lock the bike into a trainer.
