Okay, this review is being written by a guy, but I do the laundry in the house and I've been doing laundry for 15 years. So if I use dude terms like "smells pretty", please don't hold it against me. So we (my family) doesn't live in an area with a Meyer's, so the name was completely foreign. After seeing a lot of great reviews, and looking to find a fabric softener that actually works past the 5 minutes after you pull it from the dryer, we pulled the trigger and hoped for the best. My, oh my. I felt strange using less fabric softener than when I pour a shot of bourbon, but I could even smell the lavender when transferring clothes to the dryer. For the first few loads, I skipped out on dryer sheets in order to get the full experience of the fabric softener. After one load, I felt an immediate difference in clothes that I've worn for years. Shirts that have years of sweat and dirt ground into the fabric (you know the shirt I'm talking about, the one I'll never throw away) feels like life has been restored to the threads. Laid over the top of born again cotton is the wonderful, enduring aroma of a lavender field of cotton goodness. And for some reason, I get to receive the blessing of wearing this. Day after day. We have been using this for nearly a year and I've put Meyer's dryer sheets into the mix. It's such an amazing upgrade to our laundry from even the high end "main stream" teddy bear and baking soda muscle arm. I'm very happy with this purchase and will continue buying it for a long time.

I do not ever purchase scented laundry products because I think they are horrible. However I do like this product. A very little bit of Mrs. Meyers Fabric Softener is all that is needed to soften clothes and give it a mild pleasant scent that does not smell like artificial chemicals &/or cheap perfume. I purchased the lavender scented softener. I use only a little bit, and this is enough. It is not overpowering. Clothes come out of the dryer soft and fluffy. There is no adverse reaction to my skin (which is very sensitive). A regular dose would have a much stronger scent if you would prefer it. I only wish it was priced better, but I guess one gets what they pay for.

This stuff is really lovely and makes my clothes incredibly soft. My only complaint is that I wish the scent would linger longer than when my things first come out of the dryer. Maybe that's a good thing so you don't have an annoying, cloying smell with you all day, but in this case the lavender is so wonderful, it would be great to carry it with me. Hopefully the manufacturer will take note and add a little more scent to the formula.

The fragrance is subtle after the items come out of the dryer, not overpowering at all like conventional laundry softeners. It has a natural scent, not the strong cloying chemical scent that you can smell on other people's clothing from five feet away. But when you rest your head on your pillow, it is a very light scent that will make you smile. Tip: you don't have to always add this to your wash cycle. Pour some onto a clean washcloth, let dry. Throw that washcloth into the dryer with the wet clothes and it will act as a dryer sheet. Use it over and over again until there isn't much left. Makes the bottle last a lot longer. I bought a lavender colored washcloth just for this purpose so I can tell which one it is. By the way, it is getting harder and harder to find this product. I have used it for years, it was always available at my organic/natural grocery store before, but no longer, and other retailers are not carrying it either.

I've tried many brands fabric softener's over the years. I finally gave up and stopped using any because none of them did what they said they would do. Then I decided to try Mrs Meyer's Clean Day Fabric Softener. Wow! Does it really work? Yes it does. This is my third bottle. I have two family members that are in long term facilities. I wash their clothes each week. Sometimes there's a little odor on their clothes, but Mrs. Myers saves the day! Their clothes comes out smelling like roses, or should I say lavender!

So glad I found out about Mrs Meyer's fabric softener. I was making the transition to more natural cleaning products and was disappointed to give up fabric softener. I used wool dryer balls which are great, but just give you the softness that I love to get from fabric softener. Luckily I read on one of my favorite cloth diaper pages about Mrs Meyer's! I've gone through several bottles now and couldn't be more happy with it's performance. Great scent and perfect cuddle worthy softness.

This fragrance is unlike any other lavender. If your a Meyers Fan and like lavender scents do yourself a favor and try this, you won’t regret it. It’s slightly pricy but well worth it. Very concentrated which makes it worth the extra few dollars. Plus your linens can smell like heaven.

Just amazing!! LOVE the smell on my clothes and towels - cant wait to try the other products out! Doesnt say whether or not its HE compatible on the bottle but their website says it is ;)

It works just as well as any other fabric softener. However, I feel better using this product because it is environmentally safe. Would buy again.

I discovered this product on holiday in the US and loved it so I was delighted to discover I could buy it at home. The description on Amazon very clearly stated it was a pack of 6 so although the price would be a little higher than my usual product, I thought it was worth it. So I was very disappointed to discover there was only 1 bottle in my delivery - I've checked the description again and still can't see where it states only 1 bottle will be delivered. Lovely as this product smells, it's certainly not worth £17!!
