Bought one of these as heavy duty version of light stands to support larger loads. I was not disappointed. This is much heavier construction than what I expected. The fit and finish is excellent and setting it up is a pleasure. The riser sections are spring loaded to assist in extending them and the legs fold out and locate into detents for easy spacing. You will want to lock them in place with a 5mm hex key (not included) for best stability, though. I am very pleased with this, especially for the price, and will be supplementing my gear with a few more soon. Some say they call it a C-stand because it has a hundred uses. I think it's uses are unlimited.Update 9/26/14:I just ordered another one. After all, a single one needs a companion.

I have been waiting to review this as I have yet to really put this stand through it's paces. However, it seems to be very sturdy. I use Profoto 600w monolights with all sorts of modifiers. The mono lights are among the heaviest heads you can own. This stand seems to be up to the task. I use a set of 2 lights but only bought one stand because I want to be sure this thing will hold up to the abuse I plan on giving it. So far so good. I was dubious at first because of the price difference between this and some other more recognizable brands, but this is solid and seems to be well constructed. I will update this review as needed.

This stand works so well I'm looking into buying 3 or 4 more. The sections lock down very well. Even with a scrim out 2 feet on the gobo arm in 15 mph winds the arm doesn't move at all. I'm very impressed with the strength of this stand and the quality of the build. If you are looking for a cheaper (price) than an avenger or century, you can't beat this stand at all.

I was looking for a low cost dependable CStan and came accross this product on amazon, price was good so I placed the order which arrived on/before time and to my supprise the construction of it is very sturdy, and I have no problems with it to this date, it is a well made product and I look forward to doing business with this distrubutor again.

It's an interesting scent. I think I like it but it is very different.

I bought this C stand 6 months ago. I liked it so much that I bought another one. If I get my way, every one of my lights will be held up by this stand. Easy to move and easy to set up.

These C Stands are great value stands and still very tough. The nicer stands are definitely more solid, but we beat these things up and they're still working great.

My one and only perfume & body lotion. It's been my favorite fo more than 20 yrs.
