This SK5 folding utility knife is by far the best utility blade I’ve ever used. It functions like a high-end folding knife & is super easy to open, close & reload from it’s safe & handy blade cartridge. And the blades are sharp! The SK5 is heavy which helps with control & its grips fit like a glove. I like the unlock button & that this knife works like a lock blade, so I feel a lot safer when using it. I’ve primarily been using it as a box cutter, since we’ve been ordering a lot of supplies through amazon during the COVID 19 lockdown of our state. I’ve been staying on top of it by breaking the shpg. boxes down as we receive them. I’ve used countless box cutters through the years and the SK5 & refills have proven to be the best of them...even the big name brands. No need to keep looking. This is the best, by far!

Been using this knife in the plumbing trade and it's by far the best knife I've own. It's durable and sturdy, the blade stays secured and don't have a lot of wiggle. It's takes some technique to open one handed but easy once you get the hang of it. Plus the 100 blades is nice, they're loaded into a nice magazine that releases blades one by one. I strongly recommend this knife for general use. My Second favorite utility knife is the Kobalt Speed Release if you want a knife that's easier to open one handed, third is the Sheffield 12119 for people who go through a few blades a day.

This is the knife you’ve been looking for.We have been doing a basement remodel and I have had 5 different types of box cutters similar to this from various big box stores. The ones I have closest to this style just don’t hold the blade any more and it slides out if pulling the knife down too hard. Those other ones just were not safe and I threw several away.This is all to say that this knife does not disappoint. It’s got metal where others have plastic. It has a good weight to it. The blades are of better quality than the other stock blades. It is by far my favorite and will probably buy a few more soon to replace the others.

I have to say this is a good knife for being over a year old but all 3 of the screws on the one side backed out all in one week in my pocket and I didn't realize what they were to until the 3rd one came out and it wanted to fall apart. I'm going to find some new ones to replace. I would recommend this knife but hopefully the manufacturer will put some kind of loctite on the screws to prevent backing out from the vibration of being used so much. I gave this 5 stars due being soild and reliable knife until this unfortunate incident. That's what happens with small screws.

Knife seems decent enough for a utility knife and it comes with plenty of extra blades that also seem to be of good quality. I haven't used it for long, but the utility knife seems durable and easy to use. The best thing was the price. It came in a combo pack and the price was affordable.

I've been using this knife for a couple of months now and it's still going strong, only dulled out about 3 blades. I work in a warehouse so I cut a lot of boxes, plastic wrap, straps, cardboard, styrofoam and so on. It's sturdy and very good quality for the price, cuts nicely too. If you are swift you can flip it open too which is pretty neat. I definitely recommend this product, it's been very useful for me.

I bought this knife because it appeared to be sturdy and well made in the photo. Now that I have it in my hand, I can verify that it is. I've had other utility knives, and this one is particularly skinnier then other name brand utility knives while also having a locking mechanism that works in both directions with a 100% certainty. I use it as a residential electrician for several jobs and I think I got a steal for the quality of the knife itself and the amount of replacement blades.

For so many years like you I'd buy those el-cheapo utility knives for a few bucks. I finally invested in this knife and I am sold! This is a must have for any DIY'er. I like that it folds up - has a lock - and the blades are easy to change. Blades are surgically sharp! Cutting thru old siding and chalking around the house was amazingly easy. I couldn't be happier and highly recommend adding this to your tool belt.
