Exceeded my expectations
I'm very happy with this product and purchase. I've only been using it for a couple days, but will update if anything changes. My experience re: negative reviews that I read: - The packaging was excellent, the product arrived with no damage whatsoever. - There product does include a cable to extend one if the motor cables - this worked perfectly and everything fit together very well. - Cable management does seem under-engineered compared with everything else. But honestly I have not even installed the cable stays they provided. I bet they will work fine and they can be attached with a screw in the event the adhesive does not hold. Positive: - It is heavy, strong, and made well. - The motors are smooth, quiet, and quick. - The controller is simple and intuitive. - Assembly was very straight forward and quick. (screws were packaged/labeled well) - Adjustable length frame works perfectly. Meh: - Instructions are a bit cryptic, but the drawings make it easy enough. Otherwise there are a couple screws you might miss. - Cable management could possibly be better. I would buy this again without hesitation.

Smooth and Steady! Updated
UPDATE: I've been using this for about a year, and it is still rock steady. Highly recommend. I moved to WFH- like so many people did- in March of 2020 and I have wanted to upgrade from my IKEA table/desk to a standing desk for even longer. I ordered this and it came quickly, assembly and set up were a snap- putting it upright and attaching the top were definitely a two-person job- but the rest was solo and took less than an hour. For the last two weeks it has been in use with triple monitor mounts (2 for work, and a 21" Mac) and it moves up and down like butter! The 3 memory settings are great since I can set my standing and sitting heights, but also a "resting" height that allows my yoga ball chair to stay under the desk if I don't want to leave it at standing. I am 5'8 and have the setting at 41.5" for standing, but it goes up to 51.5" The base is totally stable on my carpet and feels rock solid even when I lean on it. I purchased and trimmed a 100lb. solid birch butcher block countertop from Home Depot to 6' x 3' x1.5" and finished it with a poly/stain. Attaching that to the frame and setting up the motor and controls was easily done with some predrilled holes and the included screws. For a total cost of about $600 I have a desk that I think looks as good but offers more surface area than some I saw at 2-3 times that. In my search I saw other desktop options that would have worked for less, but were unavailable at the time. I have no regrets about the look I achieved. If you are looking to do a little DIY even with a smaller surface area, this is a great option.

Very sturdy, heavy steel, thick beam in the middle . Quality product
The quality of this dual motor frame was amazing, the motor works great, runs smooth, isnโt too loud. Iโm very happy about spending about 250 on this frame . Hint: if you go to lowes and find a partially damaged plywood, theyโll 50% off it, and cut it exactly how big you want it. Iโd also take into account, the left and right beams that lay vertically along the edges of the desk are about 21 5/8 inches long, so I knew I had to have at least a 22 inch wide tabletop, which is what I did, and honestly I always see table tops be 24 inches minimum most places, but this is perfect , no wobble, no overhang on the front or back edge and only .5 inch overhang on the sides of the tabletop. Thank you for a good product . Worth the bread.

Good Quality Stand-Up Desk Frame
I bought this when the world shut down and everyone was working from home. Over several years of use, I haven't had any issues with it. I use a 3/4" plywood top and have 3 monitors + laptop supported on the desk. This moves up and down with no problem. Assembly was easy, it has several height presets but I only use 2. I'm 6'3" and this goes high enough for me to stand with my arms at 90 degrees.

I think this is best frame for the money.
Update 2025 (3 years later): All 3 desks are still good , no issues working as it did on day 1. Happy with the purchase. I have stand up desk at work that seem to be very good and was probably very expensive. I work for Fortune company and they use vendor to provide office furniture, setup and layout. So this is what I'm comparing this frame too. I was looking to get 3 desk 1 for me and my 2 kids. Started looking into frames and complete desks. Prices were from couple hundred dollars to couple thousand dollars. I didn't want to spent to much money but didn't want to give up to much on quality. After long research this looked like best deal. At this time I have 2 desks completely build and finished. Third desk is in use but I have temporary top on it as my final top is being finished. All my 3 tops are heavy butcher blocks 1.5 thick. One is 50" wide other 2 are 60" wide. I have no complains. These are very stable even at max height. Frame and motors are heavy and appear to be same grade and quality that my commercial desk at work. Also this frame is 2 stage, each leg has 2 extensions this means that the range of movement is greater compare to single stage frames. Including going down additional couple inches. No issue with controller, had to reset one of the controllers but that was after moving desk around and main box wasn't firmly mounted to the desk. As the controller has sensor to detect collision is important to firmly mount it to the bottom of the top As now days there are many unreliable reviews on Amazon sometimes it is hard to find good product but I believe I found this one. I would not hesitate to recommend this to someone or buy it again. I think this frame is comparable to frames from more know brands that cost 2 and 3 times more. I think these desk may last me very long time, time will tell. If I ever run into issues will update this review otherwise everything is good.

VERY well made frame for the price
Make no mistake by its low price, this is a very high quality sit/stand desk frame. The quality of materials used is top-notch - thick/strong steel, great paint quality and coverage, even the packaging is made from high quality foam. I can't attest to the longevity of the motors or electronics (the control box box is a little flimsy), but so far it runs extremely smooth and quiet. I paired the frame with IKEA's 55" wide Bekant table top (had to use some washers so the included screws wouldn't pop out the other side of the table top) and it's rock solid at it's lowest setting - has some wobble at it's highest setting, but is still reasonably stable even with a monitor arm. My only complaint is the instruction manual - not the clearest details on how to get the legs onto the main frame, but it was pretty easy to figure out after a quick look. I highly recommend this unit for anyone who wants to upgrade to a sit/stand desk, likes a little DIY (with choosing your own desktop and getting it to work with this unit) and doesn't want to spend the $600-$800+ that the competition is charging.

A Noble Desk Frame: An Appraisal
In mine quest for a companion to mine live-edge walnut desktop, a black, adjustable desk frame of utmost elegance did I seek. Upon my discovery of this product, joy didst fill mine heart, and its performance hath since left me in a state of exceeding contentment. Swift and straightforward was the installation, and the frame bestowed upon me the bounty of cable management accoutrements. Furthermore, I find the user interface, with its intuitive design, to be a boon, allowing for the facile preservation of preset heights. Truly, these desk motors, quieter in their operation than their erstwhile counterparts upon adjustable desks, did delight mine ears with their subdued hum. Moreover, the matte black veneer, with its dignified allure, harmonizeth splendidly with the somber wood summit. Upon this frame, I took to affixing an 8-outlet power strip, using 2x 1/2" self-tapping screws. Herein, I did connect the motor controller and mine monitor, thusly mitigating the unsightly tangle of cables cascading from mine desk. Yet, amidst this profusion of delights, I confess a preference for illuminated buttons upon the user interface, that I might discern them more readily in the nocturnal hours. Save for this trifling qualm, the performance of this product hath left me not a whit disenchanted, but rather ensconced in a realm of enduring satisfaction.

Plug in cords from the motors to the power source are too short!!!
The first thing I noticed when taking the parts out of the box was that there were no assembly instructions. Not so much a problem as I have a shop full of tools and am used to assembling furniture and appliances. I downloaded the PDF and found that while similar, it was not the same as the item I ordered. Parts in the manual did not match what was sent, and the assembly holes for screws were not in the same locations as in the manual. Forinstance, only 4 screws, not 8 in pack B. Eventually I got everything together and then decided to try the mechanism before screwing my 100 lb table top to the frame. To my disbelief, the power cords from each motor are only 12 inches long. With the table legs slid together to their narrowest width of 36 inches, the power cords are still too short to reach the power supply box. Furthermore, the legs need to be 6 feet apart but that is totally out of the question with the short power cords. I purchased three of these stands and have only opened one but if they are all the same, there is clearly a manufacturing problem here. I had planned on having my first desk up and running today but now it may be a few weeks if I have to return all of these units and start over again with something else. If there was extension cord that I could plug into each power supply line, that would do the trick. However, this is a 6 channel plug and I don't know where I could come up with two of those. greatly disappointed after recommending these to my friends.
