More Than Meets the Eye
This thing is like a Transformer. Looking at its compact form, it's hard to imagine how it can expand into a three-tiered laptop stand. And yet, after a bit of figuring out, it does. The moving parts and components are pretty cleverly designed that it's not obvious how to unfold everything. But once you figure each part out, it's pretty easy to unfold everything. My one complaint about the transforming phase of it is the locks to keep the legs open are a little hard to slide. It takes quite a bit of force to push the locks into position. And for a while there, I wasn't sure if they were meant to be moved at all. It's only the little embossed arrows and lock icons (and the diagrams in the instructions) that assured me I was supposed to slide the locks into place.Once unfolded and in use, my only other complaint is the tab that prevents the laptop (or keyboard) from sliding off is a bit much as it gets in the way of the space bar if you're using it as a keyboard tray. However, I imagine the designer saw people using this as a laptop stand mostly, so that tab has to be big enough to prevent a laptop from sliding off. So it's not really a complaint; more of a wish that the tab didn't get in the way of using the spacebar so much. For my purposes, the footprint of this contraption is a little too big for what I had intended. Yet, because of its quality, I am reluctant to return it. So to find a use for it, I'm using it as a keyboard tray for my Bluetooth keyboard. And for me, it definitely makes my keyboard much easier to type on in bed.For something with so many parts, it's fairly lightweight. My compliments to whoever designed this thing. There was a lot of thought and engineering put into it, and the result is very cool.

It's acceptable
Overall this is a decent product. As with many things these days, the instructions are not the greatest, but also not the worst. There are good graphics to follow, I just found that when working with the stand I had to really search for the parts that move and figure it out by experimenting (with it being black, it's hard to distinguish the various parts). Again, not too difficult, but not that easy.As for the stand itself, it feels fairly stable but I wouldn't want to put too much strain on it. I like the different levels for tilting the top tray. I have a 17 inch laptop, which sticks out on the sides, but the stand is supporting it just fine.Due to the tight quarters on my desk, I am not able to extend the phone holder arms, so cannot comment on them. The one thing that I would have liked is for the middle level to be an actual shelf rather than just the arms. I have put a clipboard (but you could use any firm, flat "board") across the arms to create a shelf to set my phone and any notes I need handy on it.The bottom area is nice to tuck under little things that you may want to have handy, or paperwork that you need to get out of the way for a minute.I also like the little pen holder at the front of the tilt tray. I'm constantly trying to find where my pens end up, so this has been a nice way to keep them corralled and easy to access.

Goldie Locks says "Just right!"
I really like this laptop stand. I like that it's adjustable and that there are many adjustment slots incorporated into the design. I also love that it's not big and obnoxious! It doesn't take up a lot of space on my deck and I really appreciate that I can store some misc items underneath the tray/holder, like posi-it notes, a few pens, a stapler, etc., and there's still room for other small gadgets.Life is better when it comes to Zoom meetings now...goodbye to a big area of white wall above my head! I had challenges with books and box lids and just couldn't get the right height to fill the picture. This is a sturdy, hard plastic, well made laptop riser. It's a great value, so if you're on the fence, get off and just try it!

Perfect for Surface Pro 3
FINALLY! A working laptop stand for a Surface Pro! As a Surface Pro owner, you know that the keyboard is detachable and is not hinged to the tablet part. The tablet has its own kickstand at the back to keep it upright with or without the keyboard. Virtually all of the other laptop stands I have seen will only work for a laptop with a screen that has been hard-hinged to the keyboard. But this Olmaster laptop stand has a table that is wider than the footprint of the Surface Pro. So, you can set an angle for the table, place the keyboard and tablet on the table, raise the tablet, open the kickstand--and the tablet is supported when the keyboard is at an angle--as the accompanying pictures indicate. The stand is sturdy but light-weight plastic--a dream come true for someone with a Surface Pro 3. When I want to Zoom now, I don't have to pile up a stack of books on my desk to raise up the camera at the top to eyelevel. And don't bother writing to ask if it will fit other models of Surface Pro. I don't know--but it sure does work perfectly with a Surface Pro 3.

Space saver
The media could not be loaded. This stand is definitely a space saver! It’s very functional as I am able to have both of laptops sitting on my desk. Easy to assemble, good quality, comfortability A+.
