Excellent Value /Performs as Advertised
We are using this camera for streaming and recording our church services with OBS. There are a few items that knocked the rating from being 5 star.First, the camera is shipped with firmware that requires Adobe flash to preview video. It took a little digging to find an update so video preview can be done with HTML. After updating with the two files preview worked great.Second, while there is pan and tilt speed settings for controlling manually, there is none while using presets. Moving from one preset to an another is at high speed and not suitable for a good viewing experience. It would be a great addition to the firmware to give the user ability to set the speed of movement when using presets.Lastly, the remote control works great.... when in front of the camera. Since we are behind the camera when using it, we could not use the remote until we placed a small mirror in front of the camera out of the field of view to reflect the IR signal into the sensor on it. Adding the capability to receive the remote signal from positions to the side and rear of the camera would be a good product enhancement. We really like that when the camera is turned off it pans full left and tilts full down helping keep the lens dust free when not in use. We also like the PoE feature saving the expense of running an outlet to the camera location.

Game changer
We got 5 of these and an Atem extreme ISO to use in our sanctuary for church broadcasts. They are incredible. A huge upgrade when compared to the iphones and sling studio we had before.Biggest negatives are that they have literally zero stabilization, so you need a great tripod and a sound booth that doesn't transmit vibrations from across the state. We're working to wall mount them all so I expect this to not be an issue in the near future (covered in fiberglass insulation after pulling wires all day). Also setting them up is a huge pita because they don't have dhcp enabled by default and instead declare their own dumb ip. Since we're on a completely different subnet from their ip I have to manually configure a PC on the network to get connected and enable dhcp so they'll be visible on our network. For those wondering, I'm using the router to save ip assignments by Mac address. That way I don't have to manually set ips per device, it'll remember for me in a centralized location. But overall these are great cameras and I've gotten a ton of complements on them from everyone that's seen the broadcasts. Our cameras sit about 30' back from the stage. The zoom on these made an infant take up the whole screen during a recent dedication we had. I imagine we could count our pastor's nose hairs if we wanted to :). I had been worried we didn't get a more expensive model with better zoom. But it really wasn't an issue. Ymmv depending on where your cameras are located.

Great camera at a stellar price point
I was skeptical about the quality of the camera with the price. After hooking it up, I was surprised at how good it is. Chromatic aberration is present, but certainly not much worse than other cameras even 3x the price. Auto focus works well, and seems to track by movement fairly well.PoE is actually just PoE and not PoE+. I didn't see PoE+ mentioned anywhere, so any injector or switch that support standard PoE (802.3af) should work.

Decent camera from 30+ ft away with right settings
Definitely not a use straight out of the box item! You must be familiar with IP addressing to get this camera to function. Once I got all that straight, then it was on to getting the camera to function in OBS for live streaming. This was a challenge as well. The help / support page on Avipas became near and dear to me. The customer service has been great and the representative is very knowledgeable and helpful. Between the camera settings and the settings in OBS there are MULTIPLE layers to consider for live streaming. Good camera, but definitely need to know a few things about IP addresses, and a functional knowledge of OBS is helpful too.

This camera is excellent. The 10x magnification is great. It's very easy to set up. I use this with an AViPAS camera controller.
