Automotive Authority LLC Black Chrome Side Body Trim Molding Replacement for 1992-1996 F150, F250, F350, Bronco - 2" Wide (Full Roll - 24 ft)

Used this as a cargo bumper on the inside forward edge of my Ford Maverick's truck bed. Works great, and the silver center strip looks great.

I used one full 24' roll for my crew cab, long bed 95 F350. I also picked up an extra 6' because I knew I'd make mistakes and sure enough, I did. 24' will get you there, just barely, with no room to spare. This stuff was easy to work with. The factory mounting tape is a PITA to remove. By hand, a 2' section of mounting tape took me 1 hours to remove. I picked up a 3M 07498 striping wheel and both sides of the truck took 2 hours, start to finish, including cutting the trim and mounting it.

I’m updating my review! I can see now how hard it’d be for the manufacturer to customize each piece with a finished end being that each model of car would be different. The best way I’ve found to cut it is with a grinder with a cutting blade, also I used a bench grinder to round off the ends to get more of an OME look decorative look. I’d say!!! Get a decal eraser to take off the Old adhesive!! Put it on a drill it works like a charm. The adhesive comes right off. No scraping with a razor blade and probably scratching your paint. I had no problem with it sticking. It’s a little tough getting it straight. I used blue tape to follow while I put the trim on. I bought this trim. Matches the 1999 ford f-250 trim. Maybe a little bigger but that’s even better as it can cover up some of the old lines on my truck after the adhesive is removed. I got a full roll for my extended cab eit a short bed. Half of the roll would not be enough and with a full roll I had almost enough to do one side twice.

Worked great

I read the previous reviews saying two rolls were needed to complete a truck. So I ordered two, but two still wasn't enough to complete the job on my 1996 Ford F-150, single cab, short bed. I didn't mis-cut or waste any, but was still @ 24 inches short. Seems to be quality material, so I rated 5-stars. Time will tell. I didn't have any shears, so made my cuts with a heavy duty razor knife but struggled to make good cuts. So recommend using shears or something more sturdy like the instructions stated.

Replaced the rusty old body holding on my 97 F-250. Easy to cut with a pair of tin snips. Does not have the factory edge but easy to take an old piece and cut the angle, etc. Used the big roll they have available and had a little bit left over. Crew Cab Short Box

Got more than half way through the roll of trim and found a 5 foot damaged section that was unusable. The part that was damaged did not stick at all and was completely useless. You can only return the full thing not just the section so I am having to buy another small amount rather than getting a whole new roll. Completely frustrating that I can’t complete my truck until the new roll comes in as the product worked really well beyond that damaged section.
