2019 Apple iMac with Retina 4K Display (21.5-inch, 8GB RAM, 1TB Storage) (Renewed)

I've had Windows computers for the last 30 years. Not so much recently but over the years I spent countless hours self-diagnosing problems, restoring to an earlier date, rebooting, going into BIOS trying to figure things out. Plus don't forget, having to purchase the new Windows operating system disks when the old versions wouldn't work with certain programs. I learned a lot about computers but eventually you have to admit it's a lot of wasted time that shouldn't have been. I'm sure I brought a lot of this on my self as I am the type that likes to try to fix things without taking the machine to a shop. I recently have been looking to upgrade my monitor as the one I have is sort of small. That's when these Apple computers caught my eye. I've had good luck with refurbished products from Amazon. Whether it be the 8-inch Show the Ring Doorbell or the Echo Speaker, when I get things they're just like new. The first one I bought was about $250 from Woot (seller) It was a late 2014 Apple computer. It had issues where the hard drive was not working correctly. I thought everything was okay but after about a week a message popped up and said not enough disc space even though it had a one terabyte hard drive. It had a few minor scratches on the plastic benzyl around the screen but I could live with that if the computer had just worked correctly. After returning I continue to look and found this early 2019 model. Seems like I paid around $550. This one comes in an original white Apple computer box inside of a larger brown box. So far everything's good I guess I've had it about a month. Cosmetically it's perfect. I tried to take some pictures to show close-ups, No scratches anywhere and the screen is perfect. These computers boot up in no time almost like turning on a tablet. For years I've been standoffish about Apple products because I knew Windows and thought that it may be difficult to learn another operating system. Surprisingly with apple everything's pretty much straight forward I felt comfortable with it after a week or so. Basically what I use it for is just to pay bills online. I know you can do everything on your phone nowadays but it still neat to have this toy to sit down in front of. For me the 21 1/2 screen is plenty big and apples retina display, as they call it, as unbelievably clear. Overall very well satisfied !

Pretty satisfied with this Mac. It seems to work pretty well. Love that it has 1 TB of space, because that’s what I need. I edit videos and need a lot of storage. I appreciate the decent price because usually Apple products like this are 1,000 to 2,000 dollars. Thank you!

I am very disappointed. The 2019 IMac did not go through the quality control system as advertised.1. The camera doesn’t work at all. The USB ports do not securely connect. The slightest touch of computer or desk turns off the hard drives. Weak connection.3. the computer was advertised as shipping with Mac OS Monterey, it arrived with Mac OS Catalina …even if it’s returned to the seller and sent back to me soon with all issues addressed ( highly unlikely I suspect ) , everyday that passes is downtime for my work. My guess is that truth in advertising is a relic of the past .this is my second attempt at purchasing an IMAC through Amazon…The first time was worse, the Mac OS and year of manufacture didn’t appear in the advertising. Why dI things have to be this way? Amazon, please vet more closely the people you allow to sell under your name…Please 🙏

The Mac arrived well packed. After install I checked everything and it was to spec as advertised. I upgraded the OS, which was not a problem. This Mac is slow to start up and slow on the first time start up of apps, but then is fine. Lots of features and functions. This was an excellent upgrade from my 2015 Mac. Good purchase all around. Came with a decent after market keyboard and wireless mouse.

Super slow, I should have retuned it after purchase. Thought I could work with the slow speed, but it is truly unbearable.

Tenía mis dudas acerca de comprar un equipo renovado (ya tuve malas experiencias comprando una MacBook Air) afortunadamente, este no fue el caso. El equipo está casi como nuevo. Te incluyen un teclado y un mouse bastante pobres, pero lo entiendes por lo que estás pagando. Le puse mis accesorios Logitech y con eso ha funcionado increíble. Venía con OS Catalina, sin embargo, pude instalarle Sonoma sin problema. Para lo que la uso, me funcionó perfecto.

I paid a good money to have a good computer and it had almost no storage space not even to download two programs

Solo tuve que hacer una restauracion de la particion del disco duro, pero el equipo parecia casi nuevo, aun tenia stickers y algunos sellos de nuevo.

El equipo es extremadamente lento, se tarda aprox 20min en prender, en abrir cada página alrededor de 10min y algunas no las abre. Pésimo producto.
