Great Battery for Power Bank Use
This is the second one of these batteries I have purchased. In both cases it was to use with a Duracell Power Bank that has provisions for an external deep discharge 100 AH lead acid AGM battery like this. I have had the first one for about 2 years with no problems and just got the second one installed on a second Duracell Power Bank.First the obvious - The battery is as big and very heavy as you’d expect from the description. I used a dolly to roll it to where it was installed and I felt sorry for the UPS delivery person. If this is a new installation I recommend the use of a side terminal style automotive type knife switch, a 200 Amp automotive fuse, and #2 AWG battery cables (with 3/8” lugs). While the 3/8” lugs are slightly larger than optimal for the battery post, they work.I received the battery and assumed I’d have to charge it for several hours on my 10A charger before installing it, but it actually was fully charged in less than half an hour meaning it was fully charged when I got it. By the way when connecting heavy duty batteries like this in parallel, charge each separately first (at the same environmental temperature) then connect - otherwise the fully charged battery will attempt to instantaneously recharge the one that’s low when you connect it, leading to a heavy surge when connected.Batteries like this are serious potential energy hazards - read the warnings and instructions. Add a fuse, at least, in the event of a wiring short. Although 12 Volts is quite safe in terms of a shock hazard - You get a metal short across the terminal or wiring and you will have a bad day! Be warned - Wear no rings or metal watches when connecting these. The battery itself - Top quality, received fully charged, is exactly as described. The built in battery lift handles are a bit different than the picture, but not a problem. My previous experience is that in normal usage for an emergency power bank it is quite reliable.

Great battery, great life for my camper.
I do a lot of off-the-grid camping and needed a battery that would last for days without needing charging. This one does the job very well. It is very, very heavy, but got me through the cold fall camping just fine.

Good to go...
I bought this battery as a replacement battery for my portable generator. Perfect fit.I have always used Interstate batteries for their power and longevity. The old one lasted 5 years. For an Interstate, this was a great price. Fast delivery too!

Bad customer service
This is the third 12v deep cycle battery I have bought from interstate on Amazon. I have used them before to electrify fence and twice I have had good battery life lasting about a year electrifying a fence, with a solar panel charger. After 2 weeks of using this, my third battery purchased, to electrify poultry netting, it quit working and wouldn’t take a charge so I contacted interstate they told me to call Amazon. Amazon then told me to email interstate, interstate then told me to call an extension that goes to voicemail and does not return your voicemail. So here I am writing a review.I would advise others to buy a battery through an interstate dealer and not Amazon. Interstate dealers will give you a year warranty on their batteries. Amazon gives you a good run around.

Compact and powerful.
It's much smaller than the battery we had before, but it worked great. Holds a good charge.

Great for wheelchairs
Tried others before finally just going to Intersate brand. Have this brand in my car and they just work so got it for the wheelchair. Make sure to charge them like Lead Cell batteries and not Gel cell if you have a switch on your charger. Lead cell charging is slower and more like a trickle charge.

long lasting charge for power chair.
I have a power chair I use to cut down on walking to garage from house. Up and down driveway for garbage. playing with my dog, etc. I had a knee injury that took awhile to recover from. The chair with THESE high capacity batteries gave me my life back while recovering. I forgot to say that my garage is over a hundred feet from house and my driveway is 275 feet long. I went back and forth alot never realizing how far it is before the injury. I only charged batteries weekly and they were never low on charge at that interval.

Works great for Prius 12V battery (included my kludge method)
A specific review, but if you're looking for a less ridiculously priced 12V for a Prius this worked great. I'll update the review if it dies early, but it arrived at a healthy 12.7 V. This would NOT be an appropriate battery for most cars but specifically for cars like the Prius where the 12V does NOT need to cold crank the engine but only needs to boot the computers up, it works great. I kludged it and there are many ways you can get it to work but to share my terrible method I tucked the edge of some aluminum foil under the included bolts, tightened the bolts to hold the foil in place, wrapped the foil around until it snugly fit inside "SAE to Pencil Post (JIS) Battery Terminal Adapters", put electrical tape then duct tape around that contraption, and that fit the stock connectors in the car perfectly without any voltage degradation. And put a little cardboard underneath it to boost it up a few cm since it's shorter than the stock battery. Shouldn't be any risk of corrosion since it's in the trunk (the 9 year old battery it replaced didn't show corrosion). Happy MacGyvering.
