Great experiment... needs to improve perfomance
Not so easy to navigate, unstable, noisy, downloading pictures take too long.... camera quality just okOn the plus, it is so small and light and portable. However too light for open air when breezyOver all a great experiment that should be much improved as it is a great gadget and idea but it really does not worth its current price.

High quality all round. Not a toy, a miniature drone and camera.
Superb piece of kit, high quality pictures and video. Impressive and highly attractive build quality. Came with convenient pocket charger accessory in box for good value. Easy to control indoors, but expect it would only work on a very still day outdoors. Hard to understand the negative reviews here.

Not Good
Built in sd card wouldn't format on android or iOS. Massive issues with connecting to android 9 and also on iOS. This product flew fine but it's a selfie camera and not being able to take pics its basically a mini drone . Company need to wait b4 releasing a product that isn't fit for purpose

Waste of money unless you want good feet shots or to photograph shoes.
I’m now trying to get the second one of these to work, great idea but totally a waste of my time and money. Support from the manufacturer is beyond doubt awful in that they just don’t reply or support. So total lack of service, would send back to get fixed but no reply. Took the time as an experienced drone flyer to set up as per Manual and online video, the machines are just Naff. Spends more time sinking to the floor than doing aerial work, great for foot shots!Used with Apple iPhone, tried by others, tried with Samsung, still does not perform total crap! Buy at your own peril and if you get it to work well done. I will await something better sadly. One star is one too many so complement packing!

The app will not update or work anymore??
So this product is reliant on the app that controls it and the app won’t update or work anymore?!? Has air selfie gone out of business? Yet there product is still for sale here on Amazon?? Does anyone have any info on this??This was a decent product however very finicky at times, however now I just have a nice shelf ornament without a working app...

Incredible concept, but just not quite there yet
Note: Time of writing this is not compatable with android 9.0 because of a bug they are trying to fix. The bug has been there for a month though :(Bugs aside, I got an old phone I was able to try it out on. It was decently fun but the battery life was definitely less then 5 minutes. More like 3, I tried to find ways to maximize it but nothing worked. Many people complained about the app connection but mine, once i realized 9.0 android couldnt, would take me all of 30 seconds to connect and get flying with no issues. I do disable auto connect wifi by default which some people explained might have been the issue. Note there are 2 apps, make sure you download the right one for your device as the other app not designed for your drone wont work. The design and sturdiness of the product is amazing and definitely made me feel safe if it had to fall from a high position that it wouldnt break. The propellers are inside the unit so there was even less worry.Turning it on, reminded me of turning on an original ipod touch, you have to hit the on button just right -- was a major complaint in the comments but its just a matter of clicking it right. Was able to turn on and off everytime all the timeThe flight was sadly to say, less then appealing, I even followed some other reviews and commenters tips about kneeling down inside when you throw it up --- still cracked into the ceiling so hard that it sounded like a gun went off in the living room. This happened on more then one ocassion - you need roughly 8 feet for it to lvl out correctly. The inside flying was also incredibly hard. It never wanted to hover, always drifting left or right into something and often felt like it had a mind of its own. Changing to pro mode fixed the mind of its own but it always hovered into a direction rather then stay still. Calibrated correctly several times to no fix. This may have had to do with the lighting indoors, but even with every single light on and sunlight, it just couldnt do it.Outdoors it was able to hover but only on the clearest of days with 0 wind. If there was wind and it shifted a direction --- its gone. I launched it a few times and it would go 60ft in the air and then drop due to out of range with no way to control it. I wish it only happened once but it happened several times. It could not really recognize my face or any of the nearby kids faces as this drones unique appearance obviously drew them in. It made recovering the drone alot easier sending children after it. Charge time was about an hr to 2 hrs for 3 minutes so that was a bummer.Pricing is steep for what it cannot do and lack of features that other drones do have but its under 250g compared to the others so its a small package with a steep price tag.The camera, if you hold the device and take a photo, actually takes pretty great photos but as soon as its flying, it has a hella hard time focusing and getting that "good shot". The feature to take 3-5 photos at a time is useful but only if you can get the drone to look in the right direction long enough without it drifting off. The photos i did take came out, probably similar to mid tier phone photos, but with a little morr blur from movement. Videos, were unreliable because as soon as I switched the video feed would cut out after 20 or so secondsOverall, they nailed the development of the physical drone -- beautifully designed, well made, and under 250g (so you dont need a license to fly it) but with its inability to fly, take mediocre photos as it cannot focus due to not staying still (which may all just be software) --- I would say hold off until you see what number 3 is capable of because at roughly 300 dollars its a heavy bill to swallow(Yes this was returned, return process is like most Amazon return processes and pretty simple)

Compact, easy to use, good quality pictures
So far, so good with the AirSelfie2. The instructions for set-up were easy to follow and the app needed to use the device has a solid interface. Although the device itself is small and compact, the fans are powerful (some people may find them to be loud, but we didn't mind), and able to reach good heights. After some practice navigating the liftoff and maneuvering the device, we have been able to take selfies that are clear and good quality. Overall, we have been pleasantly surprised with the AirSelfie 2 and its capabilities so far, and look forward to learning what else it can do!

Software issues
The software for my s8 did not function properly. It wouldn't pair up with my wifi. The developer said they had problems with the s9 android. However I did like the form factor of the hardware. Small and light

It doesn't work
This is the worse product I ever bought from Amazon. It absolutely doesn't work in-door or especially out-door. The price was way over the top. It said it has facial tracking so the flying camera will follow you. Apparently, the company took it off so you have to control all the flying through your iPhone and it is not easy. Please do not waste your money and time.
