This is no doubt a great bit of kit to keep essential services running dduring a blackout and can shut down systems safely. However, I'd of expected a bit more battery life that just 40 minutes with 1 server and a router connected to it. **THAT SAID** It's not supposed to keep your systems running four hours on end and does supply a lot of power, it's only supposed to keep computers and essential stuff alive long enough to finish doing what's needed and shut down safely. That's why I haven't rated below 4 stars.

If you run a hone office as I do, then you need a ups to make sure if the power goes out that your NAS drives don’t loose power. This will probably ruin your NAS drives and you’ll probably not recover your data. As I found out the hard way. Luckily the other 3 NAS drives were okay thanks to two backups running constantly. Could have been a different ending though, so I have bought 3 of these to keep my home office going when the power goes out. I have 3 different machines ranging from the 600 for server fans up to 1500 for the biggest loads. Easy to at up and you can test the systems and set parameters a with the software supplies in disk or download.The machines are quite and perform well and are balanced well.I can’t recommend these enough. I ordered the more expensive new model and the suppliers sent me the cheaper older model which they make an extra 20 pound on as a result of sending out the incorrect item which is also not pure sine wave but modified insteadReturned for refund!

Good quality pure sinewave backup power for a reasonable price.
