Star Wars Anakin Skywalker Costume Black Version By Happy-time (M-Man)

This review, amazingly, is brought to you by a woman.First off---for anyone who is wondering---NO, this is NOT 501st quality whatsoever for a variety of reasons. I suspected this was the case when I purchased it, but I had my reasons why I bought it anyway. Needless to say, it's still a fantastic looking costume that does look pretty close to movie quality when you bought it one. So, for the die hards out there, let me outline some points you ought to know. 1: The Tunic and Tabards are actually One piece(on mine anyway) and the layering is actually some clever stitching of what is best described as a Double Hem.2: The Tabards are only on the front, not the back, and are apart of the stitching line on top of the shoulders.(Main reason why this is not 501st Worthy)3: The fabric is thin for tunic and robe against the light, but on you, you won't notice.4: The Belt? Leather with Velcro binding. ---Ultimately, Not very adjustable. Same for the waistband that goes under the belt.Bottom line, if you are able to make necessary adjustments, it shouldn't not be terribly hard to make it more properly movie quality, or a least give you a good outline to making a better one that fits you.The one Major Con---I did not get the advertised Pants...

Before I start, I really do like this costume. It will be perfect for Halloween. I am 5'8.5" at 180 lbs and medium size fits me perfectly. Only issue is the outer belt is a bit big, well rather doesn't have enough Velcro. I will be installing my own Velcro to it and it will then be perfect.My biggest complain is that with mine, it isn't exactly like the pictures. If you look at the pictures without the outer cloak, there are two flaps on each shoulder that start on your back and go over your shoulder to give you pointy shoulders. Mine has these starting right at the shoulder, so it kind of just flows with your robe and doesn't appear to give you any shoulders. Kinda sad about that, but other then that, the rest of the costume is perfect.

Great product, I am very pleased with the quality of the costume. It looks like a movie-quality piece, and I can't wait to wear it Halloween and other occasions. It also came much sooner than expected, so that's a plusThe only issues I had were figuring out which side the tabards went on (not a huge issue, instructions would have been nice, but trial and error works), the belt and obi being slightly too large (fixed with Velcro patches, easy fix), and keeping the tabards on the shoulders (again, easy fix with Velcro patches). Once I had fixed those little things, I felt completely comfortable in the costume and had complete freedom of movement.

The cloak is the only good part of this costume. All other parts are made with the cheapest fabric. The belt is ok and everything but the cloak is a little sheer. All in all a good buy but very pricey for such a cheaply made product.

Most of the costume was great. The material is a bit light and the belt needed re-adjusting, but it does the trick.

The pants run a little small while everything else fits fine. Little confusing. Otherwise not a bad product.
