If you need an Audio-transparent screen, buy this!
I want to be clear my review is for the:Elite Screens Sable Frame, 100-inch 16:9, Sound Transparent Fixed Frame Projection Projector Screen, ER100WH1-A1080P3. For some reason they lump all of these screen models together, making it confusing. My setup required I install in-wall speakers for my Front L & Front R if I wanted to use a projector. So I did a lot of research on audio-transparent screens & settled on this one. I have not been disappointed. The sound comes through the screen and I can't notice any distortion.First off, assembling & mounting this was easier than I expected. They have a video you can watch and I'd recommend it. Not because this is difficult to assemble, but it gives you an idea of what you're up against. The frame is velvet (to help with glare), so make sure to assemble this on a clean floor, fresh sheets, etc. Also, if you have pets or small children, lock them out of the room! Follow the instructions and you'll have it ready for mounting in 15-30mns.When installing the wall brackets, I'd recommend using a stud finder to locate your studs. Level it off once you have your desired height. Then install 1 screw in a stud and for the other use the provided wall anchors (2 screws per bracket). Repeat with the other brackets. Then you're done. You don't need to install a bracket on the actual frame. It has grooves built into the frame, so all you need to do is get it on the wall brackets and then you can easily slide it to the desired location if you're not perfectly centered. I was able to mount my 100" screen by myself the first try as it's not that heavy (they recommend using 2 people). The bottom of my frame is exactly at 26" from the floor and it seems to work for us.*If you purchase an audio-transparent screen, they give you an additional black backing for your screen. The instructions for installing this was worded funny, but I easily figured it out.Pros:Price.The quality of the picture (you'd never know it is audio-transparent screen).Easy to assemble.Easy to mount.Easy to slide screen once mounted. They provide a screwdriver. They provide sheetrock wall anchors.Weight of the finished product.Quality.It came well packaged.Cons:Some issues I had were they didn't provide enough screen clips for each red mark on the frame. I was shorted 7 clips (I provided a picture when I ran out). So I spaced then out a bit & it hasn't been an issue. Also, one screw out of the roughly 20 provided would not thread into a corner bracket. I used to build high-end homes & know what I'm doing, so this was truly a defective piece.*Even with these 2 minor issues, I'm still giving it 5-star.

Excellent screen - best purchase I made for my theater
This is an excellent acoustically transparent screen. I have the 16:9 120" acoustically transparent 1080P3 version, and it has been installed for about 10 months. The picture is phenomenal (Sony HW40ES projector) in both straight on and off-axis viewing. I cannot perceive any drop is sound performance from my three in wall Polk 265rt speakers behind the screen, and having sound coming from the action on the screen is such an improvement compared to speakers to the sides/below a screen. My initial concerns with a "budget" acoustically transparent screen was being able to see the weave and losing light output. Eyeballs in my first row seating are about 9 feet from the screen (pretty close), and I cannot perceive anything other than a completely flat and smooth surface. I can only start to see the weave from maybe 5 feet away, and no one is sitting that close. Although a non-acoustically transparent screen might be a little more reflective on light, I can watch sports in the middle of the day without the shades pulled, so it is plenty bright enough (dark scenes in movies will be washed out in bright rooms - this is not a gray screen intended for bright rooms). With a dark room, I need to reduce light output from the projector. Installation was very quick and easy (about an hour or so taking my time), but you will probably need 2 people to hang it on the wall just because it's big (not heavy). This screen is probably the best value of anything I purchased for my theater space. I'm not sure there would be any perceptible improvement from a name brand screen costing over $3k - I haven't compared them side to side (don't know where you can even do that), but I think this screen looks just as good as other Stewart and SI acoustically transparent screens I have seen. Go spend your savings from this screen on other items for your theater.TL,DR: Buy this screen. You will be very happy.

Fantastic screen! Does not damage your sound quality
The media could not be loaded. I was able to assemble this myself within an hour while it was standing on edge vertically against the wall. It was very easy to do. Because it’s fairly lightweight, it was easy to hang on the provided brackets.

Meets expectations, but not the easiest to assemble.
Overall a good product, but seems like improvements could be made to take out some of the experimentation regarding assembly.

Great quality screen on a budget.
Was a little worried about buying a screen online but took the risk based on most positive reviews. I must say I am very satisfied. Screen arrived very well packaged and no creases in the screen during install. Tabs get a bit tight towards the end of adding all of them but it was still an easy install. The screen went behind a window we blacked out and works great. Bought the acoustic screen since I have a left, right and center channel in the wall and see no loss in sound! If you are on a budget to build your own home theater, I highly recommend.

Looks great, easy to assemble
Easy to assemble and picture is great. I got the transparent screen and the speakers behind it sound great.Installation was a little more difficult. There are top brackets that it hangs on as well as bottom ones that I think it is supposed to rest on to keep the bottom half secured. I couldn't figure out how to install those based on the instructions, but it seems to hang fine on the wall without them.

Assembly was a breeze, and the screen works great. My order was midding about 6 of the white clips that you place over the red dots, and three of the other clips I received didn't have the velcro for the reflection blocking fabric that goes behind the screen. I was told I will be sent the missing clips via single day shipping. Assuming they are received soon, I will update this review to 5 stars.

Good Quality AT Screen at a reasonable price.
It is hard to find Acoustically Transparent screens that aren't very expensive or cheap trash so I was skeptical to purchase a brand that I had no experience with but based on other reviews, I decided to try and I was not disappointed. I've installed screens that cost many times what this one does but this one assembles so much better! If you follow the directions, you'll have no problems. As far as the tightness of the weave, I don't notice it when watching from 10' away and honestly I don't see it up close either. For sound transparency, I didn't notice much difference with the screen in front of the speakers and I also used the included black scrim behind the screen to prevent reflections.

Almost good. Perfect if they give better back cloth with it.
I needed a acoustically transparent screen, what I didn't realize is that the screen itself will let some light through. On bright scenes like skies or large walls, you can see the mesh pattern of the back black cloth. The light not only goes through the screen, the black cloth reflects it (sheesh) and you can make it out.If you remove the back black cloth, then you can see the support bean that runs through the middle. Seems I will have to get a black cloth of my own.In comparison to my old cheap PVC white screen, I also loose some brightness due to leaky fabric. The older screen is much brighter on exact same equipment.
