Salem Botanical Calendula Oil, 1.7 Fluid Ounce

The oil works great as a moisturizer. It absorbs in to the skin very well. Other reviews talked about the color of the oil. It is very orange out of the bottle, but it did not stain my skin. Once it absorbs in to the skin, it is transparent. I have light to medium skin tone. The oil has a natural fruity smell that reminded me of Argan oil. The smell is natural and is not an added fragrance. It comes from the Sea Buckthorn. But, if you are sensitive to smells you might want to try something else.

So, I'm a ding dong. I purchased this for use in my aromatherapy diffuser. I was so upset as it had zero smell at all and left fatty deposits in my diffuser. I was ready to write a big time horrible review when I read on the bottle that this is body oil. NOT scented diffuser oil. Wow did I feel dumb. So ...I started using in on my face. I mean, I already owned it at this point. At the low price I doubted anything would happen but- for the first time in my life I can say my face has a healthy glow. My redness & irritation has vanished after 16 years and lots of wasted money. Even my husband started using it. This is the real deal! Best accidental purchase ever! I'm in love with this product. I even look younger and can go out without makeup on. Normally I'd be too ashamed. Wish I had it in high school.

omg my atopic eczema is gone!! for years I suffer from. atopic itchy skin , at some points had sores between my fingers, redness, swollen skin, blisters even sleeping I would wake up , scratching and bleeding , I tried everything, even expensive prescribed creams, to few weeks later all over again. am a nurse and the constant wearing gloves , or washing my hands I developed redness, this product is the best, the first week , I applied daily, no smell feels glossy like serum. stays longer and the itch went again and the healing within few days, this brand doesn't smell, love it and my skin feels softer

I thought this was pure but it says “therapeutic grade” I’m still unsure but I really like the feel and it absorbed quickly and left my skin feeling moisturized and not oily at all. For the price, even if this isn’t super pure, it seems like a great product.

This oil does not have the beautiful red color fresh St. John’s wort should have. Nowhere on the bottle does it state if fresh or dry plant materials were used. Won’t buy from this company ever again.

Disappointed to discover that my bottles are missing oil. :(

This Sea Buckthorn Oil arrived quickly, was a great buy and does what it says. I use it to remove make-up and moisturize my skin. My skin looks smoother and now has a slight glow. Even more impressive is the way a months old staph infection that antibiotics did not begin to make better was totally healed in less than 10 days after I began putting Sea Buckthorn Oil on it. Hundreds (probably more like thousands) of dollars spent on office visits, medications and wound care and a product that cost under $10 is what finally worked.

I believe this is marketed as a supplement to be taken internally, but at the recommendation of a beauty article I saw in a magazine, I've actually been using it as a topical moisturizer for my face and have been happy with the results. I was worried that it would make my skin look yellow (at first, it does!) but luckily the yellow tint doesn't last long. If you're worried, you can always just use it before bed. The smell is great too!
