such a great story to read to your child - you wont be disappointed - great life lessons - this is a book your child can read himself but the story is so good you can read it to a nonreader

This is a cute adventure story about loyalty and protecting those you love and doing what is right. The author does a great job of describing the plot from a dog’s point of view. My favorite was when the dog referred to a book as “staring papers”. I laughed out loud when I read that one. Very fun read for dog lovers of any age.

My daughter was reading this book at school and would not stop talking about how good it was. I needed to read it. Very good book and I was able to read it and keep up with my when she had read another chapter. I love that its a quick download and I got it right away. We've reread this book and now read it to the youngest kid on road trips.

One of the unique things about this book wAs the story being told from the dogs viewpoint. Most of the time I liked it, but sometimes it seemed forced. It made you think about pets and their lack of freedom. They are protected and cared for, but very limited in what they can do.

Excellent story, entertaining

I read this book in elementary school, and wanted to read it again for nostalgia since I am going to college. I paid so little for and it came very quickly in the mail in perfect new condition. The book is great and very well written. It is about a wolf convincing housedogs in a neighborhood to go back to the wild. The book is narrated from the alpha dog of the neighborhood. It is very amusing for example the the dog calls the kid a "human pup." The book is wonderful and worth reading twice!

Read with 5th graders in their Book Club. I have never seen kids so excited about reading a book.. It was jammed packed with emotion, scenery, adventure and suspense. A great choice for 10 to adult.

Read this book with my son. He really enjoyed it! He read it at school and wanted to read it again at home. ❤️
