Customer service agent was very helpful, and processed my claim efficiently and professionally. Only comment would be related to the Asurion web site, which allowed you to submit a claim. Was clunky and when got through it, said there as an error and to contact customer service, which I did. Again, agent did excellent job, and I received payment for the defective item within a week.

I bought a car dash camera in August 2025th. And I add the protection plan from Asurion for two years. And the usb cable broke after 4 months,ASURION reimbursement the $$ money that I paid for the camera good customer service thank I recommend add the Asurion protection it is a good price for 2 years is least than $10 and 3 years least than 15$ 😇

Purchasing this protection was a little tricky since Amazon did not automatically suggest it for my cart when buying the item I wanted to protect. But, once I found the correct price range for my purchase, everything worked out. There was very little information needed to initiate the protection. When my item (Xbox elite controller) broke, at first I was bummed, but then I remembered I had this protection and felt relief. One down side, I got a good deal on the controller when purchasing, and since then, they have become much more expensive. The Asurion protection gave me a gift card equal to my purchase price, but I am unable to use that money to replace the item. The claim process was very very easy and I received my gift card compensation very quickly without any hassle.

Asurion took care of my problem very efficiently. They are a great outfit to do business with.

If I could give negative stars I would. I purchased a 2 year protection plan for a trail camera. When the SD card stopped working I filed a claim. They told me that I had to contact the manufacturer and I could not file a claim. I did that. Amazon covered the cost of a new SD card. The camera still didn't work. I filed a claim again. This time I called because their so called easy claim filing system is a nightmare! I just now received a Amazon gift card? What? Where is the 80 bucks I spent on the camera. When I spoke with the supervisor he informed me that it is written in the terms that you can ONLY GET AN AMAZON GIFT CARD! WHAT THE F! I would NEVER have purchased the " protection " if I couldn't actually get refunded. ASURION IS A MAJOR SCAM RIP OFF.

My radio i purchased for my car was great for the first year no issues then one day i went to plug in my usb cord to use android auto and all of a sudden the cord would not plug in, the usb port had came loose on the radio. Good thing i purchased the 2year asurion warranty. I contacted them via email and was immediately issued a return lable to send back the radio. As soon as i sent the radio back at ups about 1 hour after ups scanned the package i had my refund code for the radio and was good to go purchase another one. The warranty is definitely worth the money for situations beyond your control. Great service a must buy with any electronics.
