I use this for rice porridge around Christmas, with cinnamon, xylitol (instead of sugar) and butter. So yummy 😋

The rice is so, so; but, it has a very stale odor

I've bought other items from this company and found them to be fresh & a total bargain. This rice was NOT that. The first time I cooked it I thought I'd done something wrong, given I hadn't made risotto in a few years. The second time I cooked it in a completely different recipe but it still had a horrible flavor that after I really focused on I determined it to be the flavor of very old stale pasta, it'd been a long time since I'd tasted that flavor so it took a bit to pinpoint. It was a major bummer because it was supposed to be a special meal and I used a bunch of expensive ingredients. Sitting down after the long process of cooking was incredibly disappointing. I had been excited to find organic arborio. I won't buy this one again.
