I accidentally ordered the wrong thing because all I've ever used was the Nail Tek 2 nail strengthener. I've used it for years. But what I found out is that it is better to use only one coat of Nail Tek 2, and then apply coats over that with the Quicken. I like it.

Works great! Dries fast, leaves a beautiful shine. Can be used with any brand of polish. Ive been using it for years. I thought it was cruelty free and not tested on animals. Will have to search for an alternative when I run out.

Bought this and the #2 NailTek product (to use as a basecoat). Didn't really expect much, as my nails have been hopeless my entire life. That being said...it's been a week and I haven't broken a nail yet! They feel stronger, both on my fingers and to the touch. I even stubbed my finger so hard I shattered my polish off, and didn't chip my nail! In terms of polish retention, I'm not sure I've ever seen anything better. The day after I painted them, I went out and dug in my garden bare handed. I didn't realize what I had done until after it was too late...but my polish was perfect! It doesn't dry as quickly as I would like...but I'm notoriously impatient, so take that with a grain of salt.Edited to add: the product definitely works differently with different polishes. So far, sally Hansen's hard as nails works the best with it.

It flakes off very easily and if you use it as a top coat it’s not good. As a base it’s ok but my nail polish pealed off when I used it as a top coat. It does dry in under 2 minutes. So it’s quick drying.
