Anyone have this and the apple pencil? is there any advantage of having the official apple pencil over this one?

No advantage. I have an Apple Pencil and it doesn’t work as well with my 6 gen iPad as this stylus does. The stylus battery lasts longer and has an indicator that lets the user know when it needs charging. Less than $30 as opposed to the $99 price for the Apple. Easy choice.

How do you change the tip with the replacement?

You may please try to remove the tip from the nib shaft with a very thin niddle. Then you can insert the replace tip into the nib shaft.
