Same as Adam and Eve in the Garden
Overall, I really liked it. I docked one star for two minor reasons. One, it’s not the same exact wording as the actual Beginner’s Bible, which is what my daughter is used to reading. Two, it’s the exact same book on the inside as the one called Adam and Eve in the Garden, which we also ordered thinking we were getting two different books.

All the "I Can Read" books are a wonderful resource for young eager minds
All the "I Can Read" books are a wonderful resource for young eager minds. When a child begins to read, their little minds open up to many possibilities. Bible stories come to life! We have probably all of the I Can Read bible stories in our library. Kids also love the Pinkalicious series as well. Purchased for the church library

Great for pre-school, but same book as "Adam and Eve in the Garden"
This is perfect for my 3 year-old. She loves the story and the pictures. However, it is EXACTLY the same book as "Adam and Eve in the Garden," in the same "I Can Read" series. I ordered both of them and was disappointed to discover they were the same.

Excellent....all 4 of our kids have enjoyed them
We have used these books to encourage all of our kids to read when they were younger. The illustrations are well done and the stories are awesome. Highly, highly recommend these.

Good book to read to 2 and 3 year old grand children
I was looking for bible stories that were broken down into simple language to read to my 2 and 3 year old grand children. This book is good. And in time we may have the added bonus of a great beginner reader for them to read themselves. The only thing I don't like about the book is the author gave names to the characters. I simply omit the names as I read.

these stories jesus told and the ones about jesus are ...
these stories jesus told and the ones about jesus are ideal.some versions are overcomplicated. they simply introduce the child to the story the illustrations are also more appealing to a child whereas some bible stories can be offputting looking older and formal. and it encourages them to read the story themselves
