Ettore 48212 MicroSwipe Ceiling Fan Duster with Click-Lock Feature

hello, we used this duster right away and it does a wonderful job. the microfiber cover collects all kinds of dust. it is removable and can be washed for the next cleaning. we have other fan dusters but this one fits on our ettore extension for a higher reach on our taller fan blades. it it well made and can be straightened out for a flat surface cleaning tool, but too much of a bend will break the simple welds on the wire form underneath the microfiber cloth. beware. microfiber cloth fingers really trap dirt. it traps much better than those flimsy yellow spiky covers for dusting. those small spiky things seem to just push the dirt to the floor or just move it around. the microfiber fingers actually trap the dirt in and can be washed out when finished. it is too bad ettore cannot make a long totally flat support that can have a sliding sleeve of microfiber cloth finger all around. that would be the best cleaning tool on the market. what say you ettore, can you make an extra attachment for all extension poles with a single slide on microfiber finger cloth on all sides? this wire underneath could be reworked totally flat and the sleeves could be sold as extras, too. it would make an excellent attachment to all ettore poles and kits. a top seller for sure.

The fan brush fits on a standard threaded extension pole. Its easy to use and wipes both sides of each blade. The only problem we have with it is that the leading edges of the fan blades sometimes need a little more effort to clean, and that means getting up on a ladder anyway. Otherwise, for weekly fan cleaning this device is ideal.

We really needed to dust our high ceiling fans (one in every room). I came across this ceiling fan duster with the perfect shape. Aided by the appropriate length pole (purchased separately), it worked fantastically well! The duster is a good snug fit and you can swipe along each side of a fan blade if it is too wide for just swiping along one side. Of course the dust comes flying down - luckily we have an air filter we can take from room to room to suck up a lot of it. I was hoping our Dyson vacuum would come out with an appropriately bent brush attachment - but alas, the one they came out with really needs to be able to go absolutely flat along the fan blade instead of being slightly angled. So for now - this has been our only solution that actually works.

Have been searching and searching for a way to clean my (embarassingly nasty) ceiling fan blades. Looked everywhere and even searched for hacks that would actually work, nothing. Purchased this fan blade duster on a lark, and it actually works, just as shown! The duster grabs and holds on to all but the worst of the collected "stuff" of the leading edge of the blade, gets the topside of the blades as well as the bottom. Shakes out easily to move on. Machine washable and dry. I bought an extra pack of duster sleeves. Highly recommend and worth every penny!

This works well for touch ups. Do not clean as well as advertised. I still use in between cleaning.

This thing is great to clean fan blades. I did get it to stay on one of my broom handles from the Dollar store, it stayed on great but when I tried another handle it didn't work out that great. Good luck finding a cheap handle for it. I took off a star for the handle being so expensive that you have to find a make do one.

The Duster works as expected and saves me the time and effort of getting on a ladder to clean my ceiling fans. The Microfibre sleeve is easy to take off and wash. I also found a secondary use for it. I put it on the holder backwards so the Microfibres are on the outside and I was able to use it to clean my mop boards. With the long handle attachment, I don't have to stoop down to clean them, and I was able to reach in back of furniture. That was an added bonus!

This ceiling fan blade cleaner is quite ingenious. The handle is long enough for vertically-challenged me. But what they don't tell you in the brochure is that, unless there's some way to lock your fan from spinning, you'll have to chase each blade around in a circle as this device pushes it to get the dust off. In my opinion, it's impossible to do alone. Still, the device is designed well with the U-shaped business end to get both sides of the blade at once and the material easily accepts water or a simple cleaning solution. The cover can be removed for cleaning. Caveat Emptor: I bought this a while ago, and I think the longer handle had to be purchased separately. Check the ad first to be safe.

Je mesure 5 pieds 8 pouces, j'ai 2 ventilateurs, 1 avec les palmes étroites, au-dessus de mon lit, et l'autre dans le bureau avec des palmes plus rondes. Je suis facilement capable de passer ce truc sur les pales, sans pole et sans faire d'acrobaties. Pour le ventilateur au-dessus du lit, je suis capable de l'atteindre pas le bout de lit, sans grimper sur le lit, selon la configuration mon lit vs le plafond... Je passe un coup chaque côté d'une pale, en partant du fond et ça fait les 2 côtés, en dessous et au-dessous et les rebords. Ça prend 1 minute et le travail est fait. Ensuite, on enlève la moumoute et on l'envoie dans le lavage. Je recommande.
