good toilet seat
Easy to install. Heavy duty lid, not like the cheap plastic one we got previously. Doesn't slam shut if you happen to let go of it while it's up - comes down slowly. The toddler part removes and attaches easily. Recommended.

easy to install and kids like it
The Mayfair NextStep2 toilet seat was super easy to install, and my kids absolutely love it. The built-in toddler potty training seat is convenient and makes potty training so much smoother. Durable, functional, and well-designed — couldn’t be happier with this purchase.

Great for potty learning
These are fantastic! We started potty training using a stand alone potty and switched to these when our 2 year old got more comfortable with the process. These seats are great, easy to install, good quality, fit both our toilets. Lid is slow close which is awesome. Seems comfortable for our toddler, and he loves to use the ‘big potty’! The little seat is magnetically attached to the lid so only comes down when you need it, but it’s very easy for our toddler to pull it down.

Heavy, loud and cheap materials
We saw one these for a regular toilet at a friends house and our daughter loved it so we ordered one for our elongated toilets at home. It seems great at first, as it was pretty easy to install and the bolts are pretty clever to break off when the right amount of pressure has been applied. We thought it was soft close, but compared to the seat it replaced it makes a sound every time. The fact that the toddler seat isn't soft close is ridiculous since their tiny fingers are the ones most likely to get smashed. The toddler seat also pops out easily which is annoying, but it does make it easier to take out and clean. Not sure why the main seat is just particle board and heavy instead of a high quality plastic like the rest of the seat. It broke after about 7 weeks while just sitting on it. What a waste of money. Great concept, but poor execution. Update: Their customer Service is excellent! They immediately responded and shipped out a replacement seat. Same easy install and other issues mentioned, but great customer service and warranty. Hopefully this will last a lot longer than the first one.

Goodbye bulky and loose child seat, hello NextStep2
We replaced all 3 of our toilets with these. They fit perfectly and are way more sturdy than our original ones (so no wiggly seat when sitting down) The built in kids seat is thoughtfully designed and is magnetically stored against the lid. Just pull it down when you need to, and when the lid closes, it will snap back, putting itself away without you needing to do anything. Beyond the kids seat (which can be neatly removed when the kids are older), it being soft closing and able to remove the entire seat with two tabs for easier cleaning is spoiling me. Unfortunately I do find myself "slamming" toilet lids when away from the house because I'm so used to them catching themselves. It really should be a toilet standard.

Perfect for potty training!
I absolutely love these type of toilet seats for potty training! We used them for my 3 youngest and it's literally the best thing we did during that time. Easy for toddlers to figure out. There's no cleaning out potty seats because the seat is on the actual toilet so they can just flush away! They found it comfortable. They felt even bigger because they used a seat just like mommy and daddy. Easy to install.

Great Design - But Toilet Seat Will Get Damaged
We bought this 2 years ago. The design and function is genius, my kids can put it down on their own and sit comfortably without falling in the toilet - plus I don't have to dump the bowl of a training potty or worry about storing a potty seat in my bathroom. The downside is that potty training seat has scratched the regular seat from rubbing together. It started scratching probably 6 months after we installed it. So there are brown scratch marks all around the regular toilet seat, which are ugly and make it look dirty. The potty seat will detach fairly easily and happens accidentally at times if the kids wiggle too much while they sit. I am going to buy another one to replace the scratched one, but I will try a different brand this time.
