Fast Shipping & Great Fit
AC went out unexpectedly - Presuming it was a capacitor issue I sourced this compatible option to my existing Genteq version.Much thinner than prior one but specs are identical. You might need to tighter bracket otherwise this was a great value buy.Durable, fast shipping and easy to install

Good item for the price
I bought this item a couple of years ago and just had it installed by my AC Guy, who said it was actually a little better than the one he replaced, as far as the rated numbers or percentages stamped on it. I like to have one on standby, so I bought this one again. The original that I bought a long time ago that was just installed has only been in the unit a couple of weeks, but everything is working well.

45 +5 capcom genteq
Item worked as advertised. Tested before use and it was 45 and 4.8. Well within tolerance for me. As mentioned before it is a little slimmer than the previous one so I had to change the band out

Easy to install. Saved $300 service call and took only 1 hour
Easy to install, but watch a YouTube video to be safe as the capacitor you’re taking out may still have a charge and can shock you.The size was a bit smaller than the same part number which was about eight years old. It was fairly straightforward to bend the mounting strap..If you have any doubt whether you need this part or not with the unit on manually spin the fan blade and if it continues, then you need this part.

HVAC Cap is Inexpensive But Only Lasts a Year (in TX)
First bought this part in July '22 to get my HVAC running. As always, I discussed system failures with my engineering buddy "can-do repair everything" crew and learned HVAC starter caps are a high failure part.I also recalled I had a prior failure in summer of '20, about 1.5 yrs after I bought the house. Decided south TX is hot, so get a spare (late July '22).The replacement part failed in July '23. This year, it failed yesterday in May '24. So I'm two months ahead of schedule (or is that behind, since it's early?).Bottom line:For $12 to the house, it's probably worth it to have to spend 10 minutes replacing it every summer. But if it happened while I was away... make sure you have a backup installer either in the house when you're away or available if someone is in the HOT HOUSE or you'll be in the hot house when you get home...

Easy swap
A/C went out during a heatwave. Local company quoted me around $300! Watched a couple YouTube videos, ordered this and was a 10 min swap. Save your $ and DIY it.

Works for me
Purchased two of these. One as a replacement for the failed one and a spare in case I need it. Quick delivery.
