frr B-52 Aviator Hat with Rabbit Fur

Long review ahead!Hat: Small- My Sizes: Head 21". F/5 ft. 0 in./100 lbs. Illinois. Reason for buying: I loved the colors and style. I wanted something warm and comfortable unlike some cheaper bomber/ushanka/trapper etc hats. I also wanted a less large/loud hat that would look decent from going outdoors to indoors and just being able to sort of keep it on inside as a casual-ware without looking like I was freezing to death at work.Let me get some of the important bits out of the way:For me, the hat runs a tad too large. The adjustable slider will pinch the base of the hat, but the actual bowl of the hat is too large, so it will either be loose, or you will have a scrunched up hat. It sort of engulfs my head either way. (As seen in the picture) Also, if you get the hat, there are some leftover fluffs and fur from manufacturing that need to be deshed. Don't worry, the fur isn't falling out. Just extra from being made.That being said...this hat is the real deal for the price. It's luxurious and comfortable. It has the ear flaps that can be adjusted up or down with ear holes on the side so you can hear better. The brim (the part right above my forehead) has buttons and can be worn up or down. The straps for the chin are Velcro so you have more range of sizing. The fur is SO soft and warm. The material is not stiff like many polyester hats being sold, so the hat moves with you and won't brush up against your clothing or shoulders, moving the hat around. That being said, the ear flaps and brim are a little longer than one of the product pictures showed, honestly, maybe it's my size but I have no idea what the brim does aside from engulf half of your face when it's unbuttoned. LolSo to end it: This hat would be a perfect 10/10 had it not been so big. I am going to try the kids hat and see if it's any better because the quality for this hat is probably the best I've gotten for nearly $50, which to me, is a lot for me to spend on any type of hat at all. But it does earn that price with utility, albeit at the expense of looking a little goofy on me when I was hoping for a full winner with style AND comfort. Basically, if you're a smaller person like me, go for the kids hat unless you are outside in terribly cold and windy weather for long periods of time and need something that gets the job done. It still earns 5 stars for product, but sizing gets 3.5 stars for the fitment not being reflected on a size SM.

Warm,fit well

Double check the sizing as the one I bough, was oversized. Probably my mistake although double check an return for right size if it is to big as this hat really keeps you warm. Rabbit hair does fall off in your face here and there so you have been warned.

I like the quality of this hat not only is it so Fr and warm it fits my teen boys head, we have larger head people in the family and it was nice to see a company carry xl size for once.

Very warm hat better than a regular blaze orange hat.

Can I say love? I loathe the day that its too warm to wear this hat as it is just so soft and lovely and warm.I learned this was a canadian company only after looking at the shipping information ! Very cool.

I have a large, but normally shaped head. This hat fits perfectly in circumference, but is crazy tall or deep. The front can come all the way down to my nose. It is shaped for Dan Ackroyd's "Beldar Conehead" or maybe a "gray alien". If you have a watermelon or maybe a big peanut shaped head, this is for you. The quality seems good though. I would return it, but it did not realize that it was not "Prime". I'll keep it, and maybe hide an Egg McMuffin in the top in case of emergency.
