0820652 Sit 820 Nova Natural Gas valve 0.820.652, 820-652, MilliVolt Valve

My fireplace didn't have much room to work with , installation went smooth, had to bleed the lines of Air. Fired up , works as new even tho fireplace is about 23 years old

I used this to replace the valve in my Monessen Gas Logs. Every thing fit perfectly EXCEPT for the terminal for the Thermocouple. This valve has a slightly larger diameter threaded hole for the wire and it doesn't screw in tight. I put a lot of thread tape on it for a snug fit but it's not perfect. The valve was wrapped in Saran Wrap with large stickers on it that clearly said they would not refund the valve if it had been opened / installed. I didn't know I had the wrong part until after I unwrapped it and was half way through the installation. Doh! Oh well, it does work and it works as it should. If the pilot light goes out I can always connect the wires using a wire nut instead of the loose connection. The part I should have purchased is Model 0820637 and this one is 0820652. Live and learn.

Discovered that Honeywell no longer makes millivolt gas valves for fireplaces. Thanks Honeywell. Found this gas valve and ordered it was almost a direct replacement. Fit in the factory bracket perfect. Thermocouple and pilot line hook in front side of valve instead of rear like old valve. Better location in my opinion. Keeps them away from blower wheel. Excellent pricing and shipping was fast. 20-year-old majestic fireplace working like new.

This item was a perfect replacement fit for my Heat-N-Glo Tiara Petite Stove. I have heat again now!

This was an exact replacement for one in a fireplace that quit working properly. The new one works correctly.. Warning: this can be a very tricky installation for three reasons. One, there are really no instructions with the valve. Two, as a replacement, access may be very tight. And finally, you must know how to safely install and start up anything involving natural gas or LPG.

We had a professional install it. We are happy to have our gas fireplace working again.

Replaced the original valve perfectly. It solved an intermittent problem I was having with my fireplace.

This product is an identical replacement to my existing Sit 820 Nova. My old unit bought the farm and the replacement works great and my fireplace is good as new.
