Another great book
Following the standard format and style of the series, this book is very good.As a graduate chemist who wasn't fortunate enough to have much biochemical content in my degree,it gives a fascinating insight into the chemical action of a wide range of modern medicinal compounds, as well as the synthetic routes used to generate them.A great book for anyone interested in the field.

Great book for chemistry students
The Oxford primers have been the key to my successful graduation, a brilliant series that is succinct and clear. I highly recommend this to any chemist who wants to learn about the the industrial realities of drug production and some of the interesting methods of synthesis industry utilises.

These Oxford Chemistry Primers entered the market just over 15 years ago. Great value for an authoritative brief introduction to topics which you don't want to spend the time or money buying massive textbooks for!
