Works as expected
Tried two other replacement batteries before buying this Dell replacement battery that did not work. The Dell battery for my XPS 15 9550 worked flawlessly. Battery life is back to where it was when I bought the laptop. This will extend the life of the laptop.

Does NOT fit Dell XPS 15... plug wires too long
Wanted this less expensive version of the Dell brand battery. When I ordered this model, it looked very similar to the name brand, but upon unboxing, I noticed that although the battery itself looked the same, the wires and plug were longer. I decided to give it try anyway.Well... the battery section fit just fine, but when I went to plug it in, the wires were indeed too long and wouldn't allow the back cover to go back onto the laptop because the wires were sticking up with nowhere to lay flat. This is an obvious design/production flaw. Too bad. Now I have to return it and shop for another one. Wasted time.
