Must have tool for late model brake system repair
I’ve been a DIY auto mechanic for better than 50 years and performed many brake jobs.My last job was a simple pad replacement on a late model FORD SUV with an electric parking brake feature. Trust me when I tell you that you will not do it without this simple inexpensive tool. Purchase this tool before even thinking about removing the rear wheels.You’ll thank me later for my advice.

Required for DIYers with VAG vehicles (probably more)
Working on a Mk7 GTi, these are required to compress the brake piston of the rear brakes (as they need to be turned while being compressed). The durability/function/value is high - works well, built to last, and is low cost; one minor nit, the turning handle is very short ~4"? hard to get the required torque at times. (think a vehicle with many miles since the last brake service)
