My adult granddaughter wanted to get started with embroidery so this is one of the gifts I got for her. It comes in a nice case, the yarn is lovely and the kit has everything for one to begin. She uses it all the time and it happy with it.

I haven't figured out what some of the items in the box are for. The box is less than 4 inches high by six inches square. It is a perfect size for what I need, and there are a lot of gadgets in there that I didn't know I would get. I will update the review after I've actually used it. I know how to embroider and sew, but this is for making bracelets, as shown on the box. I will update this if needed but since they don't give the dimensions in INCHES, I thought I would.

There's really no going wrong with this kit. I love the way the tiers stack and can be moved, and they lock in place very sturdily. The plastic is a little thin, but that makes it flexible so it doesn't feel like it'll break. Comes with a bunch of extras like snips, a measuring tape, and thimbles, which is nice.I actually only bought this for the storage box, expecting to give the off-brand floss to my nephews to play with, but the floss is actually really nice quality! It has a sheen just like DMC, and comes all pre-wound and numbered. It's a pretty close match as far as colors too: so much so that it could work to replace DMC in small projects that don't call for more than one skein per color.Really pleased with this purchase, and will be buying again for a gift!
