This contains ingredients that I do not like to put into my body, including carrageenan (gelling agent 407) and iron oxides (color 172). After all, the whole purpose of a supplement is to help your body get better in some way and not to cause any problems while taking it. Carrageenan is a known stomach irritant. Although iron oxides are approved for coloring agents in the EU, studies show that they may cause digestive issues or issues with stomach cells, and more research needs to be done. Why should I take a chance? Why do manufacturers need to add coloring agents and fillers to supplements anyway? Usually, because that’s an inexpensive way to bulk up capsules or make production easier. This is also a very high priced supplement at $58. Save your money.
