Ambientehome Teak Hanging Bench, Approx. 100 cm, Swing Seat, Brown, 80853

I give one star so that my review will register. No stars as bench arrived faulty and could not be assembled. One of the metal securing lugs in the seat was loose and the wood was split (photo). One of the metal securing lugs in the back had not been machine correctly so fixing bolt "A" could not be screwed in. Went on Amazon to return faulty item and the system said I had to return item within 28 days or I would be charged for it !!!! Had to ring Amazon who are collecting item FREE OF CHARGE.UP Date ON MY REVIEW. First of all Amazon have been excellent I rang them on Tuesday, they picked up the faulty bench on Thursday and delivered the replacement bench on Friday 30th April 2021, all within four days. I will now move my review to 3* - the second bench came with no installation instructions, the spanner provided was too small for the nuts and there was a bad splinter in the wood of the arm rest which I had to cut out and then sand down both arm rest's so that they matched.

The bench arrived damaged and it's fairly obvious the damage occurred during the manufacturing process in the factory, rather than in transit. I've attached photos.The manufacturer must have very poor QC/QA procedures to allow the product to leave their factory in this condition. It's a shame because otherwise the bench seems to be quite good, but I can't recommend this item or the manufacturer when they appear to have such poor regard for the quality of the finished product.I'll be returning the bench.
