Quality cover
This particular brand has proven to be the best for the money. We have tried other brands and been very disappointed as they easily get holes and allow water to seep through with the pump being triggered and pumping off. Lost a lot of water over the 6 mo layup. We usually get one season but at this price point buying a new one every yr is not a problem. With this cover water isn’t lost and nothing gets in so when we open we have a crystal clear pool that just needs some filtering and vacuuming with the dolphin.

Pool cover
Purchase this winter cover for my pool for summer evaporation protection (I am in CA and we are in severe drought condition). First off, I measured my pool incorrectly (my kid read the measure tape wrong by 10 feet). This cover is HUGH. It cover the entire pool and some. I have seen summer (clear bubble wrap) with smaller dimension at Leslie selling for $120. Second, the material is reasonably sturdy, and could take abuse reasonably well. For those with jagged corners on your pool, I would glue kids safety padding to reduce risk of ripping. Third, the cover weight changes once I deploy it. I did not anticipated that water drag is VERY significant once the cover get wet. If part of it is submerged under water, it could get VERY heavy to be handle by one person. I would recommend a roller for this cover. My wife unfortunately is not partial to the added ugliness/cumbersome of accessories to accommodate this cover (she has a point as it requires a 2 person operators any how) Fourth, I would forget about the floaties weights for this cover. Use your garden brick (most people have plenty to spare) to anchor along the edge of the cover. Again, the material is hardy enough for this. Fifth, I wish they make more grommet/eyelet around the cover for user to tie the cover to pool anchor. As is the cover has plastic ties along its edge for this purpose which is good but NOT great. For those who has smaller pool, it would also be good to half the cover and stabilize the layer by tying them together. Interestingly, the plastic ties are NOT symmetrical in location, i.e, they don't quite mirror each other, and if you attempt to tie them against each other the resulting 1/2 sheet is not quite flat against the other layer. Overall, my first attempt to save water on my pool is not bad. Expect 2 operators for deployment of this cover. I am impressed with the water evaporation save with this cover. Last note: be VERY careful if you have young children. This cover could trap the unwary young one underneath easily without obvious signs; but then again, if you needed this cover, you should know about pool safety/etiquette already. For the price, I would highly recommend this cover.

Does the job very well! Great price, too!
For the price ($73?) you can't beat this pool cover! It does require either the water tubes or concrete blocks or something to hold it down in high winds. Keep it stretched tight, the cover should lie right on top of the water, and then up to the walkway around the pool where you secure it with water tubes (not included) . I used concrete blocks and in the high winds here in Las Vegas, the wind picked up the cover and dragged two concrete blocks into the pool! But this cover does a great job of keeping leaves and dust and other things from blowing into your pool. Price is great!

No water weights.
Nice cover but water weights not included as in picture. The main head line needs to have this info and not just in the fine print. Or show the cover without the weights in the main picture. A little deceptive. It's perfect for installing over an old cover with a few holes in it. Didn't have to spend $3000 for a new canvas cover, this year. Thanks for listening.

Lasted 3 Months. Warranty will not cover 'Anything' caused by the nature!
So much for researching for better pool covers.... Every season I think I found it and every spring I wake up to the harsh reality that no matter what I pay for a pool cover, it will not stand to the elements. This one did not last a full season. It got ripped all over the place, not enduring the natural tension from fallen leaves & wind, within 3 months. Seriously? there are pool covers they walk elephants on and even that got ripped here, at least it lasted more than 3 months though! Warranty card says pretty much no damage to the cover is covered under warranty, unless the damage is completely, inexplicably happened due to inexplicable reasons.....

Le produit semblait bien . Des la première hiver la toile c'est déchiré . Retourner la toile pour remboursement . Cette toile n'est pas fait pour les hivers au Québec. C'est vraiment une bâche , pas une toile pour piscine.

Not sure this will last long. Compared to the last one I used, this one is a lot tinner and has no extra material on each end to allow the tarp to sit on top of the water once installed.
