This is a lovely afternoon tea as the name suggests. I will by this again. I also ordered the Fortnum and Mason Fortmason. My new favorite. I would suggest better shipping as both boxes came dented and were shipped separately. When you love something, you want to give it as a gift and a dented package is not giftable.

Fortnum's Afternoon Tea Blend is smooth, flavorful tea that is perfect on its own, or served with traditional sandwiches and cakes. Strong enough to be invigorating, but mild enough that a few cups at tea time won't keep you awake all night. Best of all, it doesn't get that bitter quality that many black teas are subject to when over-steeped. A daily tea that is also fine enough to serve to company on special occasions.

I fell in love with Fortnum & Mason teas when I visited their London shop. I'm glad to be able to order them through Amazon. The black teas have such robust flavor!

Unless you have a personal relationship with this tea already its better to get the less expensive afternoon teas. Yes F&M makes the worlds best tea, but that's when its bought at the store—in London, and ideally, loose. This just wasnt worth $30, and the quantity of tea in each bag itself seemed meager.

I was gifted a tin this Fortum & Mason afternoon tea (loose tea). So I wanted the convenience of a tea bag. Truthfully the loose tea tastes better. But for travel, the tea bag is great.
