Amazing little fly box, there are tons of cheaper options on Amazon but the quality and storage capacity of this one is great. Perfect for beginners just starting to build their collection.

I love this box, small, See through cover and compact. It's easy to open and close, easy to see what you're going to grab and fits into most small pocket.

I have several of the original Tacky boxes so was somewhat surprised that the overall quality is not as good on this box as earlier, original Tacky boxes. Specifically, quite a few of the slits on the silicone were not completely through so as to allow insertion of the hook bend for securing the fly. This was a bit frustrating as I was filling the box with small nymphs and having to put them down to open up the slit(s). Another item is the color of the box - it has a grayish drab color that does not allow seeing what is inside. My other boxes have clear lids, so I can easily recognize this as a nymph box, but if I had several of these, it would be frustrating opening the wring box(es) on stream. Once I fixed the slit issue, the box is a keeper, but these little annoyances should not happen.

Solid fly box, does its job. Fun fact: this box fits perfectly on the outside of an Umpqua Overlook 500 chest pack where the foam fly strip is that comes with the pack. It also fits perfectly on the top of an Umpqua Ledges 650 where the foam strip is. I replaced the Velcro that the pack comes with with a heavier duty and larger patch and used fabric glue to glue the patch down on the pack. Works like a charm and is better for quick access to flies without digging into your pack.

This box is perfect for your nymphs and small dry flies. Great for a quick fishing trip. Fits easily in a pocket. Very durable. Will hopefully last forever. I love the silicone insert system.

I like these boxes. I don’t wear a vest anymore, and I hate chest packs, so I end up putting my fly boxes in my pockets when I am on foot. These keep the bulk down while allowing for a good selection of well organized flies. For me the capacity is half of what is stated in the advertising. I don’t fish many flies smaller than a sixteen and the boxes would be too crowded with two flies per slot with anything bigger. The silicone is holding up well.

Liked that it was compact. Disliked that it was a little heavier than expected. Used it for storing flies for fly fishing.

Again we were smitten with the photo and didn’t receive what we were expecting. Great little case but we will be returning.

It’s a nice case and the magnets that hold It closed are strong but if you put flies on both sues there’s not enough room to close it. It’s good for small day trips.
