Nailtiques Protein for Nails - Formula 2, 0.25 oz

This stuff works like a charm. I've had artificial nails for 30 years and now I can go natural without worrying about splitting and breaking nails. My nails are thin and dry, but this polish helps them hold up and actually strengthens them.

My nails kept breaking even though I was using a more costly nail treatment product regularly. I read an article that said Nailtiques Protein for Nails can really help strengthen weak nails. I have been using Nailtiques Protein for Nails for a few weeks and I have seen a great improvement in my nails! They are longer and stronger. I followed the directions and applied 2 coats of Nailtiques Protein for Nails to my bare, clean nails. Then I applied polish like I normally do. Every other day, I apply another coat of Nailtiques. After a week, I remove all the polish and Nailtiques and start again. This works for me. Give it a try and see if it helps your nails.

My nails have been seriously struggling! Nothing worked till this. I tried Perfect Formula Gel Coat, which looked pretty, but did not stop my nails from peeling. I also tried OPI Nail Envy (new formula) which totally let me down. I tried hard as hoof cream and massaging in jojoba oil daily. Nothing stopped my nails from peeling- some almost halfway down my nail bed. I’ve used Nailtiques formula 2 plus for about a month now. For the first few weeks, I followed the directions religiously- one coat daily, remove at the end of the week, start again. It allowed my nails to grow out without new peeling, and I could cut my nails back to healthy nail. Then I used it as a base coat with two coats under color, and even added as a coat over the topcoat on day 3. It added shine and prevented chipping. My nails are recovering. They are soooo much better than they were a month ago. I was a loyal OPI Nail Envy user for years. It was fabulous, and I recommended it to everyone. Then they changed the formula and my nails got worse and worse. I think I have finally found a good replacement for it!

This stuff really does give your nails strength and helps them grow. I find, however, that if I wear it for more than maybe 10 days, it tends to delaminate my fingernails. Instead of chipping a nail tip on something hard, a layer of the end of my nail peels off like an onion skin. So yes, it keeps them from breaking or chipping, but it also does that, at least to mine. So, I generally apply it and then remove it after about 4 or 5 days, wait a week and then apply it again. That has worked out well for me. Maybe only my nails react this way - I have no idea.

Easy to apply and does help nails heal and grow stronger. Only complaint is that, it makes it look like I am wearing nail polish. Oh well, I believe that my male self-confidence can handle that.

This product has worked wonders on my nails. They used to peel and break constantly no matter what I did or used, but since using this regularly they are longer and stronger than ever!

I have been using Nailtiques for exactly 25 years. It keeps my nails from crumbling at the ends. I do my own nails and use this as a clear polish. Three coats, once a week. I could not find it for a while during Covid and I was desperate. So happy it is available.
