simple and sweet
This pedal is really really good, I'm maturing professional I'm retired now but I've had every delay pedal from Roland space Echo to the eventides, this pill can achieve that you two sound very easily another thing is I've never understood why all delay pedals don't have a tap tempo that's an oversight by the manufacturers for sure. You wanted to follow you not you follow it this is the best deal in delay pedals going. Also the reverse delay leaves a lot of opening for Pink Floyd type stuff

Holy bananas this is a great device
This thing does regular delay stuff just fine, but if you get experimental with it, you can get sounds that are exceptionally unique.I have owned dozens of delay pedals and plugins over the years. I bought this one in a hunt for a great reverse delay. This pedal both surprised and impressed me. If you're considering it, even if you have other means of delay, I would recommend this pedal, especially at this price. If you have a copy, set the dials as I have in my photo, throw in a long drippy reverb, and have fun. Even string noise and pickup taps sound interesting with these settings. And it's a fairly clean trail.Big fun

Quality pedals at a cost saver price!
I'm taking off 1 star (only half a star, if i could)...only because I wish they would have had the very top of the sliders colored white, or another bright color. That, would make it much easier to see the position of the EQ sliders. I may paint them white at the top, myself...not sure yet.As for the EQ pedal itself, it is excellent! It REALLY made my amp, sound SO much better; like day & night. I'm very happy with my tone now...& it also has much more "punch". I have it ON at all times, because of how much better my amp sounds now. I now consider my equalizer to be the most important pedal I own. It's well built; the sliders & on/off footswitch have a high quality feel to them. The footswitch is very smooth...it barely makes a sound when using it.I'm very impressed with Donner pedals. I also have their "Echo Square" delay pedal. It's excellent! I'm also impressed with the fact, that they are VERY quiet. I don't hear any hiss, etc. Quality pedals at a "cost saver" price! I plan to purchase another pedal from Donner this month; the "Mod Square 2". It has 2 Phase Shifter modes (my main reason for buying it), plus Chorus, Flanger, Wah, etc. I'm really looking forward to having that in my signal chain as well.I highly recommend Donner, & I wish I knew about them much sooner.

I didn't know...
I was noticing a serious issue of bass frequency peaking in my recording for online content and although I could fix it in the room, I couldn't correct the direct signal without seriously affecting the in-room tone. I picked this little gem up and put it in the signal chain AFTER my other effects and now it's a simple adjustment to avoid those bass frequency peaks that drove me crazy. The signal through is clean, no distortion at all when "off" and the controls are straightforward. I have it mounted on my desk, rather than the floor so I don't have to bend over to adjust it.If I ever take my full rig out, I'll buy another one to avoid disconnecting it from the way my home studio is wired.

Works well low noise
If it was 18dB I would put 6 starsVery low noise, this is important for me, that's why I put 5 stars. Lot of pricey units are noisy...

Great value and build quality for the price
This is my first Donner pedal after seeing these all over Amazon for years and seeing Jack White also endorse some. I always figured they were quality for the money, but this being a metal enclosure and also having a separate tap tempo really shows that off. It works exactly as it's supposed to. I really rely on the tap tempo for quickly settling into rhythms, yet didn't want to spend a lot since this was for my acoustic rig pedalboard which is extremely small in footprint. This also stood out to me for exactly that reason - it's compact and can get skinny. I stack a mini pedal directly over top of it and both fit on my board with little issue. You may have to get creative with your pedalboard "Tetris" but this is a great pedal. The tap responds nicely and I like how bright the green lights are - just wish the knobs would light up as well, they missed that chance since they are already translucent plastic. I also think the tap tempo light could be a different color to differentiate quickly, but those are my only qualms and they are minor. I used it already for a 3 hour gig and it responded professionally and accurately. Great value pedal, especially if you're into delay.

Pretty sure I got a dud, but it still works well for a 50$ knockoff pedal.
NOTE: When I first pulled it out of the box, it was a little smaller than I expected, and it smelled a little burnt. It's a decent pedal. I got what I paid for. It's really fuzzy, and I like that. I don't own any other fuzzes so I can't really compare. It combines well with my little fender frontman 15 with the drive set to 2. It also sounds amazing on bass going into a blown out line 6 spider 15. With the right amp, you could get some great sounds out of this little guy. However, the octave let me down. For some reason, when I turn it on, it completely eliminates all feedback, and gets rid of all the low range, which is why I don't use the octave with my bass. I won't be using the octave a lot.Overall, it's pretty meh. I would return it and ask for a refund, but I threw away the packaging.
