...OH HOW I LOVED THESE MYSELFbut MY GRAND DaUGHTER could not care less, and THESE ARE PRICEY and swooshin the trash in a flash...hentif you want tiny cups that r pretty , MAKE SOME and FOR A KID get plastic and let them, reuseTHESE ARE JUST PAPER PARTY SUPPLIES IN THE DOLL SIZe and are very sweetBUT IF YOU DONT MIND THROWING MONEY OUT THE WINDOW...let the children have cake!and serve it up doll sizeat 6-8 bucks for 4 of each......cup plate and knapkins, ,I WOULD NOT RECOMEND...for this,and felt it was a waste,and not appreciated LIKE I LOVED holding and LOOKING AT THEMit felt awful to see them dirty and in the trash.. save the $$$ and do something better! BUY one sheet of scrap book paper, pull appart a paper cup,REDUCE on your home printer and make as many copies you need,glue, take normal sized knapkins, refole down,cut in half.....for plates,cut down actual large sized, maybe 2 from ONE plate? GET THE IDEA.... THESE r for PLAYING RIGHT ,PLAY BEFORE TOO.....now go get crazy and make center pieces from the left over cut plates and paper..take water bottles and make plastic flowers, ??I HAVE DONE STUFF LIKE THIS ALL MY LIFE and going strong......IM JUST TELLING YOU WHAT I WILL DO WHEN I GET THE URGE TO HOLD A 2' or so CUP!and this is what I HONESTLY WILL DO!lindalinda-chartier.com my art is good,and I can do anything and I have fabouless IDEAS JUST DO NOT ASK ME TO SPELL OR WRITE!

I recently threw an American Girl Tea Party at my home for my daughter. Her friends were requested to bring their favorite AG dollto the party. We thought it would be fun to set up a mini table for the dolls. I love the fact that these match the "large" plates, cups etcperfectly. My only complaint is that it came with a setting for four vs six. For how tiny they are, I would have liked a little more value.Even though we had six dolls,I just ordered one set as $10 to get 6 full settings seemed a tad wasteful. However, I give it a solid 4-starsas my daughter loved setting up the doll table while I set up the large kids' table. Finally, since it is made from thin cardboard vs plastic,I don't expect them to last a long time. But it will have already served us well!

Better than expected. Although it says 'crafts' it really is more like American Girl brand placemats, heavy duty paper cups and paper plates for 18" dolls. It came decently packaged in a plastic box that allowed items to be displayed.

This product was the right price and my daughter loved it; however, there were only 3 plates in the set instead of the 4. She has 4 wellie wisher dolls which is why we bought this-- for her bday dinner at home-- her dolls were going to have dinner with us. The missing plate was a little bit of a disappointment and I wish they would replace the set. Other than that, loved!

Used them for my daughter 8th Birthday and she was pretty excited that the dolls had their own items. I made a lot of our own party decorations but this was a little bit of a splurge (buying paper plates and cups for a doll should be a splurge) but I knew it would make the party more festive and fun, and it did. She was able to save the one's that guest didn't take and they will be re-used for hours of play I'm sure.

Wanted to love these - price is great, they are super cute, and just perfect for American Girl dolls! - but the quality just isn't there. Ordered as a surprise for my daughter's 8th birthday, and even with a lot of care, I think we're lucky if even one of these cups are still around just a few months later! Plates are definitely a bit better, but still tend to get crunched pretty easily and I haven't seen the placemats since the party! Nice concept, but would have rather paid a bit more for items that would have held up better!

I am giving my 5 year old her first American Girl doll for her 5th birthday party. I've been collecting American Girl items (clothes, books, crafts, movies, pets, etc.) here & there so that I can make her a gift basket full of American Girl items to go with her doll. This little set (VERY teeney!) are perfect for pretend play with her dolls. In reality, you're just paying for the American Girl label.. these are super cheap paper products.. but for my intended purpose (gift basket) it was a perfect buy for $3.31 shipped.

My girls love to play pretend and have tea parties and dole out 'food' and 'drinks' to their friends. These have worked out amazingly! They are *Paper*, so likely will not last forever, however they have certainly worked out well for the past 4 months. We use play food and pretend drinks- if you put real food/ drinks on the plates/ in the cups, you'd need to toss them after their use.
