ATDTools 13777 12-Piece Star Plus Bit Socket Set

Tested out on seat belt bolts with loctite and had no issues. Also gave the big test on rusted up F 150 bed bolts with no issues. Pushed to the breaking point and held up. Would not recommend impacting seem to hard for that. Excellent value.

I see a lot of this fastener type on CAT engines and equipment. I have used these a number if times now and am pleased with the results. The bits and the drive sockets seem to be plenty strong. Like all the other ATD bit sockets I have, these came in a nice case which is well laid out and space saving. Highly recommended for price and quality.

I thought these would be black like an impact rated type (like the picture on the box and in the add). Seem to be decent quality for the price but haven't used them with any amount of real torque yet.

Just works! And the price is reasonable unlike the other options. Damn these proprietary fasteners - thank you ATD for letting me extract them without using a drill, and put in good old hex cap bolts instead.

When you have to have them, they work great.
