VERGILIUS Under Door Draft Stopper,Improved Adjustable Double Draft Noise Blocker Sweep for Sound Dust Proof (Coffee)

After reading a few of the reviews regarding the stopper not staying in place, made a decision to give it a try regardless due to the other more positive reviews. I had a corner gap where you could see literally outside from the inside and needed a solution that could fill it vs cover it like a typical door sweep. I left the old weather stripping on and slipped this draft stopper over it. I think that’s what made the difference with no issue with slippage or falling out of place when door opens and shuts. What a difference!! No more draft and house stays warmer even at lower temps!!

There was plenty of foam for different door sizes but I had to cut mine, it was really simple though. The foam moves a little bit when I open and close my door but not enough to stop it from closing. I bought it mainly to keep smells from the rest of my house out and I won’t be able to tell for a bit how good it works but so far it seems to be working well.

So the installation didn't take very long. I cut this styrofoam tubes pretty quickly to size. Velcro straps work all right to hold it in place. Some reviews on some products mentioned that this styrofoam and cloth gets caught under the door but I haven't had that problem. The one unintelligent thing about this is there's a white plastic strip sewn on that seems to act like Velcro and gets hung up on parts of the door stopper... So I just took some scissors and cut that white strip off to avoid problems. In my particular case this can't stop the noise from outside as there's a vertical Gap in the door also. Still it manages to block the horizontal cap. I think I can safely recommend this inexpensive object for other people. Thanks for reading.

From the receipt of purchase the foam would not fit all the way in both sides of fabric. I went ahead and installed into door and it has been the biggest pain since. Gets stuck and moves more than intended due to foam not fitting correctly in sleeve. Do not recommend if you open door at all.

Works great at sound dampening. Easy to cut the tubes and slide under the door. Only problem is that it easily catches on the carpet when you move the door so you have to kind of lift it each time you close the door. Not such a big deal if you only open and close the door once a day.

Very easy to cut and adjust the size. I have nerve damage and was able to use a box cutter to cut the foam and then take the same amount of other side. Looks great, slides good and no draft blowing on me. My boyfriend wouldn't do something about it so I did and thank you for being so easy.

Works great, easy and effective to stop drafts

I bought this draft stopper so I could continue to use the doors. I bought two sets- one for each closet door near my front door. This area of my home is very drafty as it is not insulated well. I had to make adjustments to two foam pieces as I did not need the third (narrow door). The draft stoppers aren’t particularly pretty or even neat. I’m concerned about the large amount of dog hair and dirt that will attract to the fabric, but I think they will be easy to wash as they were easy to install and put together. The product itself is really fine, and affordable. There just hasn’t been a lot of technological advances in the area of home draft stopping- at no fault of this product. For what this item is, it’s much less expensive than some of the other options out there, and most importantly, it seems to be working as I can still open the door, which was my second goal next to stopping the draft. I would not consider this to be weather proofed as far as wet rating.

Very effective doorstop, the double sided design blocks drafts and helps with sound insulation. The velvet black material blends in well with the my black door so it doesn't look unnattactive from the outside.

Best product to soundproof a room. Our walls are insulated and solid wooden door and the room was not soundproof till we installed this product which was very easy and the room is now quiet.

it helps ok with sound and heat. it gets stuck on the hard wood floor. I walked into the door some many times.

It’s okay.First few days I used it it was fine and I had no problems, as the days went on I would come out the shower and if the floor is even remotely wet it will catch and drag the whole thing under the door I was very disappointed with this product
