Q: how big is it when it is folded up?

When folded it is about 5 inches thick at the base, it stays the same height and width. It was a little bulkier than what I wanted at first but my two year old really enjoys it. She can get on and off safely and still help out with cooking something on our countertop.

Q: Can you buy an extra mesh panel to cover the other side?

Hello- it is more of a cream colored white.

Q: Is the mesh washable? What color mesh comes with the white tower?

Yes it is Washable and I have a black mesh with honey wood so I have no idea what color comes with the white. We had to buy the mesh separately. It was not included
