I'm This many years old as in 70+ and finally found a callus remover that does the trick for my feet! I might be this old, but my feet are smooth and young looking… Definitely get this and it's a great Christmas present for all your girlfriends if they love to Self Manicure

Yes, all the way! Calla is the king of foot (cheese grater style) files. There might be cheaper versions, but they are not all the same. Plus, this style of file is much safer than razors. I love to walk barefooted, plus I also don’t wear socks under most of my shoes. Inevitably they get rough. Look at the photo of my new calla, it’s full of dead skin!! I’m super pleased at how well it works, though mad at myself for letting it go this long (usually I maintain and use my tools in between pedicure visits). So I know it’s gross, embarrassed to share, but wow!!!! By the way, this is my second calla. The last one lasted for years, and finally started dulling. But it was the best, so i knew I wanted another of the same brand. I also have an electric style file which is great as a last step (after the calla) for total smoothing before applying lotion. The electric (sanding style) files don’t work well for removing thick skin. They are great for “buffing.” The directions say wet or dry, but I prefer working on dry and capturing the dead skin, to fully see what is going on. The plastic shield is so helpful, otherwise it’s skin everywhere.

This is by far the best tool I’ve found for my rough, cracked heels. It quickly removed all of the dead skin with almost no effort on my end. The catcher on the back is also very handy and removes easily for emptying. I can’t speak to the long term durability as this is just my first impression, but there was no bending or flimsy feeling while I used it. You will definitely need a fine grit file to get everything extra smooth, but this very quickly and easily removes the bulk of the rough skin from all over the feet.

Works great

I was hesitant because I am prone to hurting myself with minimal effort- I did NOT want to leave my poor, calloused feet, raw and bleeding. However, I decided to give it a shot and I am SOOO glad I did!! First, the handle and curved design makes it comfortable to hold and easy to use. I followed one reviewers recommendation and started lightly to see what progress was made. I am so thankful I did that as it didn't take a lot of pressure to remove the callous from the side of my heel. I had been using a pumice stone just about every time I took a shower. Since using the Cala callous remover twice, my feet are as smooth as they have ever been. I am going to try it on my husband- when I do, I will update with before and after pictures. (His feet need some serious TLC!! 😉)

Highly effective at removing callouses and dead skin cells. The amount of dead skin that was removed from my feet was almost embarrassing.

This is my go to foot scrubber!!! I do lots of gardening & work outside & wear sandals or go barefooted in the summer. This keeps my feet soft & clean. I’ve ordered multiple.

What can I say? This is a "mens" file and large but works great so no complaints.
