Very good performance especially for the price **Update Jan 10 2020 Failure**
I recently put a metal roof on our house and immediately I noticed I was getting a lot of breakup in my phone calls. I had to go outside to make a call. When I tried to run the field test mode on my iPhone10 after selecting LTE then Serving Cell Meas and then you get the display for rsrp0 and rsrp1, before hooking up the cell signal booster I could not even pull the field test up inside the house. I had to go outside to see these readings. My outside readings were around -115 for each. Also before hooking up the booster I rarely got more than 1 bar on my phone from inside the house. After the metal roof I had to go outside to insure a decent phone call without the call constantly breaking up. I remember suggestions from the manufacturer that said don’t expect more bars from the booster than you get outside in fact you should have at least 2 to 3 bars outside to consider the booster investment and that was the conditions I had that is 2 to 3 bars outside. After hooking up the system, which was extremely simple, I made sure that the outside antenna was higher than the peak of the metal roof to have clear line of sight for 360 degrees. After hooking it up I immediately had 3 bars inside the house which I never had even before the metal roof. More importantly my rsrp0 and rsrp1 readings came down to the 80s and sometimes 90 or low 90s. That was a huge improvement. In fact when I went outside my rsrp0 and rsrp1 numbers were over 100 which makes sense as I was at ground level and the outside booster antenna was higher than the roof peak which meant the quality of the signal was higher inside than it was outside. So far for the price I am very pleasantly surprised and now it just comes down to how long will I continue to get this level of improvement. I installed it today (Saturday) and haven’t had any phone calls to test that out, but based on the numbers I should not have any problems with calls breaking up anymore. I will update this later after further actual use. UPDATE Jan 10, 2020. Despite the encouraging positive changes in both rsrp1 and rsrp0 I still can't use my phone indoors, so the booster didn't help. I even upgraded to the iPhone 11 suspecting the phone might be involved but the new phone made no difference in my ability to have a phone call without significant breaking up, so we are looking into returning it and looking into other options, such as getting Verizon involved to see if they can help me get better service that I am paying quite a bit for each month.

This may not work with your phone
Before you even consider buying this product - you should use their app to see if it can even figure out what your phone is doing. The "app" kept saying "unknown band", although, there was one "log" that stated "Band 13". So, I tried it out in my home (made of steel and under ground 2 feet) and the phone did not get any signal. So, I think 2 things, that this is old equipment that doesn't meet todays (encrypted?) signals and the app was used too late (I did not know about it until my purchase) I also waited too long to test it. I am totally discouraged on getting a signal in now, could I even trust units that cost 2 or 3 times this one costs. If "the app" cannot figure it out...

shot distance
It works but you must stay within a few feet to get a strong signal. Glad that it works though.

Outstanding Customer Service
I was trying to get a signal booster for a Novatel T2000 wireless landline home phone and I thought it would be better to just buy a whole house signal booster. I live in an area where we only get 1-2 bars and a Verizon tower is only 1-2 mile away. I tried AT&T, did not work over half the time. I switched to Verizon wireless home landline because the AT&T landline bill was $60+.I studied options and ordered the best deal from PHONETONE. Once I received it, I figured out I would need more wire coming into the house because I ordered an inside device that just had the antenna attached to it with no cable to get better distribution of signal. PHONTONE (Jessie) said they would help me with the cable I needed but try device first. I hooked it up and it did not help. Again we only get 1-2 bars anyway. I contacted PHONETONE(Jessie) and they had me try a couple of options. PHONETONE's customer service(Jessie) was outstanding. They stayed in contact helping and answering any questions as needed. Since the device was not helping, they said I should return it for full refund. From my experience most companies do not have a customer service as helpful as PHONETONE. The customer service person was JESSIE. Even though the device did not help me and I returned it, I will gladly do business with PHONTONE in the future if they have items I need. Amazon can verify I am a customer.

If you have some signal to work with it works great! (easy too)
I was sceptical at first so I was hopeful but not expecting much. We were in on the way to the mountians and lost service (one bar, on and off) so we decided to test it. We plugged it in to a little inverter and hooked it up and bam! it worked, 2-3 bars. We used our Cricket phones an my Verizon iPad at the same time, non of which worked before we turned it on. Then when we got to the campground, we had zero service and it did not help. Our son had an online class he had to jump on so we were headed back to town but as we left the camp, the road went a little higher and my son said he had a bar for a second, so we pulled over the car, hooked up the antenna and stuck it up at arms reach in pine tree and again we had 2 solid bars. He got on the on line class, and we got signal on the ipad again and got business done. You need some kind of weak signal to work with but I was very impressed at how well it worked and how easy it was to set up. Just connect the antennas, and plug it in, and it works!

No luck with signal in Mexico
Currently have ATT service with one bar at home. Installed this on the highest point of my roof top Terrance but failed to even boost a single bar. I made sure it was the correct signal booster . Not sure if it only works in the USA . Def doesn’t work in Mexico.

Keep your money
Very minimal boost. Found that comments and ratings were not for the exact model listed. Need to get the $400+ setup to be of much help. Simple assembly/install, but that is the only positive point I've got. Don't waste the money...
