This is a hard wax like product. Using a small patch of rag to apply it will probably take forever to use up the supply.Did the truck wheels and windows. Wheels are staying clean. Windows got cleaner than ever before. Rain can stick but only in small tiny drops.Does not run down like Rain.X but lasts longer and wipers glide better with better cleaning results. Seems like several types of this stuff are outthere but like they say, “if it works, keep using it”. I’m prone to experimenting so will probably try Rain.X on top of this product to check for anincrease in performance but either way I plan to keep using it as my go to since Rain.X needs frequent re applications in my hot sun climate where this one doesn’t.

So far I’m amazed. I took my chrome wheels off the car and cleaned them, inside and out. I waxed the wheels with this stuff and 2 weeks later, no dust-no grime-nothing. I’m not sure if I just drive nice or what but I’ve put on around 300 miles. Can’t tell you how A little more expensive but worth it. My puppy out grew this and we bought another larger size. I thought ahead and had the lrger Velcro patch long it will last but so far I’m impressed. I bought the big jar and am waxing everything with it now including my windows.Update: it’s been a month and I’ve only had to rinse my wheels to clean. I’m tempted to put it all over the car 😬. I don’t like it on the windows but I don’t care. Well worth the money spent.

To start with, I have always used Mothers Mag and Aluminum polish which works great and leaves a beautiful shine to my aluminum wheels. But it does not help in reducing the brake dust that accumulates on the front wheels. Between hand washing, the dust turns hard. Have to use a heavy duty brush and scrub the dust off with a mixture of car soap and water. Very frustrating. Saw the reviews on Amazon for Magic Guard and ordered an 8 oz. can. Went on smoothly, and by the time I reached the last wheel, the first had dried to a haze. Came out with a beautiful, deep shine. After a week of driving, the brake dust that had accumulated was loose and washed off with a spray of the hose. Used a chamois to dry, and the shine was still on the wheel. Very happy with this product!

Wax was easy to put on and take off. That is about I can say about product.

I have washed my wheels twice now after using Magic Guard. They remain very smooth; as if they’ve just been waxed. I’m very impressed so far. Didn’t give a 5 because I just used the product a few weeks ago. Instructions say to remove wax after a minute. Make sure you do! Leaving this product on longer than recommended makes for a LOT of work trying to remove it. Cover a small section at a time and I think you’ll be very pleased with the results.

I have 13 year old alloy wheels. It did bring them back to life, very subtle but noticeable.

Used on painted wheels on a brand new truck!!

This is great stuff. I put Magic Guard on my truck’s wheels and they are much easier to clean and they seem to keep the grime from sticking compared to before I applied it. This winter has been so sloppy that I wash the truck about 2 times per week and the product is still holding up well.
