Wonderfully stable, inert & versatile.
I was genuinely surprised by these Kanto stands. For the money I wasn't expecting lovely features & versatility such as internal speaker cable routing & being able to adjust the speaker seat, or top plate, angle (horizontally) They have very good weight to them & also have very good, thick, isolation pads to the base & seat. They also include all hardware necessary for construction and adjustment. Included are two sizes of seat so they are versatile with speaker size too. For reference I have used the smaller seat for a pair of Monitor Audio Bronze 50's and some Neat Acoustics Critiques while also testing the larger seat with some Monitor Audio Bronze 100's - all speakers were held very well, with little chance of movement. If you're running Kanto speakers they also have a proprietary system to bolt the speakers securely to the stand. The only, minor, criticism that I have, so far, is that the internals where you run the speaker cable is a little "unfinished" & sharp so you can easily snag/damage your cable if you don't feed it through. In summary: These are well designed units that are versatile and at an attainable price - Highly recommended.

Solid stands for small speakers
All metal, heavy quality construction, just the right size and colour for my KEF LSX desktop speakers. What's not to like? The photo shows the as-installed one of the pair, surrounded by the usual clutter of a music-enabled office desk. Solidly constructed using thick steel plate, with dense rubber foam pads for contact with the desk and the speaker, they are roughly 2.6kg each unit, consisting of a heavy base plate (18 x 21cm steel about 4mm thick), a central pillar and smaller top plate which supports the installed speaker. The top plate can be secured to the speaker with standard 1/4" threaded bolt if, like the LSX, the speaker has a suitable threaded socket. I don't know how secure speakers without a threaded mount would be - subject to knocks from wayward children, dogs or simply audio vibration, accidents could happen. The top plate is 11 x 17cm, a larger plate is also supplied (18 x 18 cm), both plates are of slightly less thick steel plate, but still heavy and robust. My LSX's measure roughly 15 x 15 x 23H cm, 3.6kg per unit and sit nicely on the smaller of the supplied top plates. Even using the larger top plate, significantly larger stand-mount speakers could be top heavy so despite the substantial mass of these units they will probably not get used for my Heybrook HB2 vintage speakers (10Kg each), despite the audio benefit they could bring. Comprehensive instructions are supplied, along with with bolts, washers and hex keys for assembly. Excellent 2-day delivery from Peter Tyson via Amazon without delivery charge. The usual frustrating absence of key information from the Amazon listing - such as dimensions; only the height is mentioned (and only for purposes of selecting the model required), there being no guidance as to the size of speaker the stand would be suitable for. Not cheap, but for quality units, cost is less of a factor. Do they improve the sound? Of course, this is very subjective; for me they seem to make it more immediate with less colouration, as the centre-line of the KEF drivers is more nearly at ear level when I'm at my desk. So on the whole, yes I would recommend.

Great quality stands — perfect height for KEF LSX II, but screws didn’t fit
I paired these Kanto 6-inch stands with my KEF LSX II speakers and they fit perfectly once installed. The quality feels solid, and they instantly lifted the look and sound of my setup — really clean and sturdy design. Only downside was that the screws included didn’t fit my KEFs, so I had to source my own. Not a big issue, but worth noting. Overall, great stands that I’d definitely recommend if you’re looking to lift your speakers off the desk and improve your setup.

Used for bookshelf speakers
Bought these as I only had limited floor space next to my cabinets and the base plate on most stands are too wide. Whilst these fit in the space and are the right height, they are perhaps a bit too small for my bookshelf speakers because it looks a bit top-heavy and maybe a little ridiculous - though to be fair, these are marketed as desktop speaker stands. They come with 2 sizes of top plate (I used the biggest), speaker wires can be concealed inside the support and the metal feels sturdy. So a good quality stand, though a bit expensive.

Solid buiild quality
Verry surprised at how solid this is. The package was extremely heavy for the size of it. This mad3e me thing it must be quality. Looks really nice in my space and hols the speakers on my desk without wobble. Paintwork is great. Very happy with it.

Great Stands - Poor Packaging
I bought these to pair with a set of Kanto YU4s. On arrival the front of one of the uprights had two small witness marks on the front, where it had obviously rubbed against the two Allen bolt heads shown in the second picture during transit. Whilst a couple of dabs of white paint rectified this, for £70 it simply shouldn't happen. Assembly was straightforward, although as another reviewer has pointed out, it's easier to run the cables in the uprights PRIOR to attaching the top and bottom plates. I'd suggest it's also easier not to fully tighten the locating bolts on the top plates during initial assembly, if you intend to experiment with the angling of the speakers, as they can't be easily accessed once the top plate is in position. Other than that, they're great. Sturdy, heavy, sound-enhancing and they look fantastic with the YU4s.

Excellent strong heavy stands.
These Kanto Speaker stands are excellent quality, very heavy. Well made and of course an excellent match for the Kanto YUK amplified speakers. Easy put together in minutes and so strong when assembled. Of course they are expensive, but if youve got the Kanto speakers theyre well worth it.

I researched a bunch of different speaker stands for my bookshelf speakers and this was lights out the best that I could have gotten. The fit and finish is brilliant meaning that it was easy to assemble, the paint coating seems to be dry powder application which is just so strong and overall, they look great. I came here to state this....I rarely review products because even if they are really good, I don't have the passion to rate them but these stands? Just a great purchase and especially for the money.

These stands are great; they look good, feel solid, and are heavy. They do their job very well. While they may be pricey, you get what you pay for, and these will last a long time.
