Fabulous blanket! For several weeks I have been looking everywhere I could think of for a lightweight blanket like the old PolarTec ones, and I finally found it here on Amazon. This is a soft, lovely blue, lightweight blanket for spring and fall.

Read the description. Don't get me wrong, this is a nice fleece blanket, but I made the mistake of not paying attention to that fact. I was actually looking for the "original" Vellux blanket like the one I had years ago. The nights are getting chilly and I've been without my down comforter for a few days so I decided to order a blanket in the meantime. As I said, this one did the trick and I was grateful for its warmth. I'll be keeping it but still ordered the other version today.

It’s light weight and soft. It’s nice for the upcoming colder nights, but I know, even with the thinness, it would still burn me up in the summer.

I ordered this Vellux Fleece Blanket Queen Size to replace another fleece blanket that had served well for many years, but started shedding the fleece in spots. This blanket looked to be the color of the old blanket and I was hoping it would be the same. I debated between this Vellux blanket and another fleece blanket, but decided on this one because I remembered Vellux blankets as being wonderful. The color of the blanket is close to the original, but not quite on, which can be expected when ordering from photos. The blanket is very soft and I consider it to be a lightweight blanket for summer or in addition to another blanket in winter. Also, the fleece is a little shorter than other fleece blankets and maybe that accounts for it being less warm. The blanket washes and dries very well, it remains very soft and the hems all around are finished nicely. If you're looking for a lightweight blanket for summer nights in air conditioning, this blanket is a great choice. It you're looking for it to be used in the winter months, it will need to be paired with another blanket to provide warmth on cold nights. I do highly recommend this Vellux Fleece Queen Size Blanket.

Love this Vellux fleece blanket. I have a queen in this material in cream, have been hunting for the exact material for a sofa throw. Found it! I love the tornado gray color, a very deep, dark gray. Won't show the dirt. I love both blankets for their light weight quality, perfect blanket for a little warmth, but not a heavy fleece or sherpa. The twin size is perfect for the sofa, I can wrap up from my feet to my head. I washed it upon arrival, and it is very soft. The material has a texture, it is not smooth, but I did not have any pilling, and very little fuzz in the dryer trap. Going to get another for a second sofa throw. I love this blanket on my bed also, it is the perfect lightweight cover for slighly cool nights. This is not the "foam" material that Vellux makes, just to be clear.

I got the twin size blanket in the color desert sage. I love the color, it's very true to the picture. It's pretty soft, not very "plush" though. It's a smooth-type-of-soft if that makes sense; it isn't fluffy. It's quite thin, and it will definitely not keep you warm. It would work better as a decorative blanket or one for comfort, in the spring or something. But you will need other blankets layered under it if you plan on using it in the winter. Haven't washed it yet, but the quality seems pretty good so I think it'll hold up well. I recommend it, but be aware that it is VERY lightweight. :)

I was VERY pleased when I received this blanket. It is sooooo soft, and the perfect weight to have on your bed during the warm weather when you use your AC. I've already washed it, and it washes well. I bought it for an adjustable bed in a full size, and there's a good amount of blanket that falls on either side. I would definitely buy another one.

This blanket is thick and very soft. Perfect for cold weather snuggling. I recommend one hundred percent.

Ideal size for King Single beds, they are very light but kept my grandchildren very warm.
