CSI LUMA Flashlight - Assorted Colors

I bought two of this particular model flashlight..I have other Nebos. I received the black one and the reddish orange one this time around. Both were nice finishes. This flashlight is a nice weight, and a nice size. Its about 3.75 inches long and measures just under 3/4 of an inch across and fairly meaty in weight for the size. It would fit in a small purse or any coat pocket, desk drawer, glove box etc. I like the compact size a lot, it fits my hand well it has a rubber nubby grip "sure grip" in the middle and if you are holding a metal flashlight in your teeth for hands free stuff like changing a tire or a fuse..it saves your teeth. I don't like to play around with cheap flashlights when I need one to work. This one works reliably long term, and is inexpensive enough to have multiples laying around. I really like that it has a glow in the dark/illuminated butt. I can find it in a drawer in the dark (okay so I lose it in the bottom of my purse and I can find it in the dark) and best of all it uses one AA battery. I always have that size battery laying around even if I have to rob one from a camera or Wii controller etc. Quality is excellent and they last.Heavy weight compact flashlights are my all time favorite emergency gifting item...every year somebody unexpected shows up with a gift or such...I wrap a couple I am good to go when it happens...which is why I just bought these two. They are unisex and they look and feel like a high quality product and they make gift exchanges a no-brainer..which is awesome!Pros: Good amount of bright white light for its size and battery. Nice grips and illuminated butt. Great compact size fits everywhere, nice heavy weight, light battery usage and takes AA batteries. Tactical edges protect light if dropped not real useful otherwise. Good looking and finish holds up well.Cons: Tactical edges can be sharp and may wear holes in your purse liner..get a cover for it. Both ends unscrew and impact battery contact so make sure both end are firmly screwed on or the light will flicker or not work.

Worked briefly until bottom button lost tension. Unbreakable Rayovac much better.

I was looking forward to the light, but alas, it came DOA. I gave it a 2 star because I expect it to work. The seller was DBROTH.

Its a bright light, lasts long, except that after a few months of use I have to sometimes slap the light a few times to get it to work. If it wasnt for that it would have gotten 5 starts. I keep it in my car as an emergency light.

I have two of these and they are very nice. The light is brighter than my 2D cell incandescent flashlight and it lasts a long time. These things are so small and pocket-able you can take them everywhere. The finish is very good and I like the fact that it runs on 1 AA battery. You can get batteries anywhere for this. For 8.75 it's a good deal.

I received one of these as a Christmas present last year. I liked it so much that I bought four more. The AA battery that comes with the flashlight lasts a really long time. I still haven't had to change the one from Christmas and I use it fairly often. The light output is quite bright and these flashlights are small enough that I can keep one in my purse. They are great for emergency kits and glove compartments. I will be buying more of these in the future to give as gifts.

It is small and compact, but packs a big punch. The one bulb LED works great, for camping, looking for things in the dark, and etc. The defense front (4) edges sort of confused me at first, but it adds a nice look to it in my opinion. This is a great flashlight. The fact it does not have a pocket clip did not knock off a star and mine does not have a rattle. I will update if I see any negatives that may hinder the actual performance.

Though I'm no expert, I'd say this flashlight feels very solid and well constructed. It's much better than some flashlights I've passed over at retail stores or been given by family members. It has the style and feel of a much more expensive light. It gives off a decent amount of light for a single AA battery flashlight. Hopefully, it has good battery life. Call me picky, but I was disappointed they sent me a pink one. Since it seems to be a quality light, I'll probably give it to a female family member. If I knew I could get one in an acceptable color, I would order another one.
