Tyrant

Easily one of the best deathcore CDs available, 'Tyrant' from Aussie wonders Aversion's Crown is a filthy beast, with impeccable production, insane breakdowns, hammering riffs and percussion, and some pretty nifty lyrics that sound like 'Independence Day' on acid. The vocals are incredible, too, with a wide range of hardcore styles being utilized throughout (those high shrieks are otherworldly). This works great as an album, but tunes like 'Hollow Planet', 'Xenoforms' and 'The Glass Sentient' can't be ignored. Rings Of Saturn hold the monopoly on space-themed deathcore for sure, but this is more grounded and satisfying than any of their work. Bottom line, if you like Thy Art Is Murder, Boris The Blade, early Veil Of Maya, or Martyr Defiled, you need this.

vous en avez assez d'entendre toujours les même groupes mis en avant sur la scène death. Vous en avez mar que le death deviennent un truc de boloss victime à des groupe pollueur, marre des rifs toujours semblables. Aversions Crown est pour vous. Au delà de son aspect technique tout simplement phénoménal de la basse survitaminée aux guitards assassines, AC donne et punis très violemment sans finesse vocale qui est parfois typée de deathcore. Cependant c'est un son riche que l'on vit avec ce groupe, riche en émotions telle que violence ou rage, riche en transitions parfois planantes. bref cet album doit figurer dans ta collection si tu veux du nouveau son qui dépasse tes espoirs.
