Harold Import 1734 "Red Bear" Copper & Brass Polish

I used this product to remove heavy tarnish from copper trays I got at auction. Bought it because of positive reviews. They were right. It is amazing! My trays are shinier than a new copper penny with very little effort!

This is the greatest metal polish I've ever found - and I've tried them all. Easiest to use, it's a paste, not a liquid, and rinses off easily. Copper polished with it stays polished longer than other products. Excellent for the stainless steel lining in copper pots. Although I use Gorham for day-to-day on silver, I've used Red Bear for difficult stains on silver and Armatale-like alloys with equally excellent results.Greatest thing since canned beer.

The best product, by far, for cleaning copper!

Works great for its ease of use, compared to other products- specifically Brasso. Red Bear did not have a scent, which allowed me to clean longer and not need ventilation. It was not as powerful as Brosso is, but it is also not as caustic. I did have things to clean outside and found the power form made it harder to clean with. Overall this is why I gave it 4 stars.

I've never used used Red Bear on copper pots, since I don't have any, but it's the best thing since sliced bread for stainless steel pots & skillets. And I don't use a sponge or cloth. I use a damp Scotch Brite pad & it works like magic. Rinse the pot & re-wash with Dawn. When dry, it looks brand new. So you one-star reviewers, don't throw this stuff away ...... just save it for your stainless steel. :-)

My mom asked me to buy her this copper polish. She had used up her tin which she bought at a local kitchen shop years ago, but the shop closed and I couldn't find the polish anywhere locally. This is the same stuff but now it is packaged in a plastic jar instead of a tin. It works great and all of Mom's copper is very shiny. She is happy :)

We have a large brass table top with a repeating intaglio design. This cleaner removes the tarnish from the surface and leaves the indented part of the designs black. Creates a lovely look.

I have been searching for something and all the products say how easy they work and how fast but this one actually did. I have an OLD copper chalice my father drank his beer out of when I was a child (I'm 65) and he always kept it shiny as a new penny. I have been trying to shine it up and just couldn't. now just with one application it looks very good. I have a feeling with each time I use this now it will get better and better. The first pic is the bottom of cup and how tarnished the entire cup was. The second pic is the bottom stem as i started to wip and the cup itself is how shiny it is with little rubbing with soft cloth and this powder.
