Good Price and Works Well
This hard start kit worked well for my AC unit and the price was very reasonable compared to other options. Installation was straightforward and the product feels solid for the cost. After installing it, the compressor started more smoothly and seemed to have better starting power.

Started aging compressor
I was going to replace my 23 year old Coleman A/C, but a friend asked me why and when I explained the issue he recommended I try an SPP6. It got the old compressor to start again. Not expecting it to fix it forever, but pleased with the performance.

Doesn't work, not fit for purpose.
Doesn't work, not fit for purpose, won't start a rv a/c unit on a Honda 2k, tries I suppose but just can't. We all would like a cheap product and it's so cheap we try it even though we know better. Great for them, they make millions selling lots of cheap product, sucks for us because we fall for the hope but lose our money and time on something that doesn't and frankly, shouldn't work. Should be 0 stars.

Fairly large and physical size
Two wire hook up to existing start run capacitor. Very simple discharge the existing capacitor first before you wire in. Itโs probably a good idea after the power has been turned off otherwise any do it yourself or should be able to take care of that?
